I've driven back home after not finding a parking space and almost always a person is parked without showing a placard. Very irritating. I hope you are still doing the disabled people this service

For sure! Those "only a minute" people tick me off. I've gotten to the point of look for handicap placard or tags and if they don't have any I take a picture and show my local PD. They will investigate the matter and if the vehicle isn't attached to to anyone certified for a placard/tag then they get a $150 fine. That makes me so happy when they get the bill and try to fight it in court. They come in saying "That's my vehicle but I wasn't driving it then, I loaned it to a friend" to which the judge replies "Your vehicle, your responsibility regardless of who's driving" 🤣

I get the impression that Johnny takes his time with most tows in order to give people the option to pay it out for $100. If he can stay at a complex and hook 5 or 6 cars and have them pay it out vs hooking 1 or 2 and taking them on the freeway all the way back to the yard, it's a better financial proposition for the tow company.

I'm disabled and at my place of residence, I have a handicap sign just for me! I can't even go to the doc or market in peace, when I return someone is in my spot! wendy king - Wendy, you should call a tow truck! Some companies will give you a "finder's fee" if you're a frequent reporter so you get a small percentage of what they collect. I say find a company that does that and go nuts! 😘 Good luck!!
Get them. I am a paraplegic retired tire repair and replacement technician doing Road calls I carry a valve core tool in my pocket when I see them parked in handicap places and no placard I take the valve cores out of the tires. I leave them sitting there on four flat tires it doesn't damage the tires but it sure does make it inconvenient
Great videos sir, just wondering how this works in the state you are in. Are you under contract to a the city, or do the laws of the state allow you to tow illegally parked vehicles, whenever you see them? In Toronto, where I live, to have a vehicle towed from private property, you need to call the parking enforcement, part of police services, and they will remove the vehicle. If it’s in good shape, they will do it for free, they can seize and resell if the owner doesn’t claim it, and pay the fine and towing. If the vehicle is abandoned, you have to pay for the tow, later, if the vehicle is claimed, you get your money back.
I wish i had balls like you, to help others, by removing parking violators!! And also wish you lived in Denmark, (i'm from DK) caused we have a lot of them!! Good job!!

I find your videos incredibly satisfying. I just wish there was something you could do to those obvious violators who have placards but are perfectly able to prance in and out of Starbucks with their double frappe whatever’s. Those people really curl my hair.
There is no reason for anyone to park in a handicap space if they are not handicapped...it takes 5 mins for your doc to make out a placard. I dont have the use of my legs and I still dont use mine. I am blessed to have a family member drive me, and I get dropped in front of my drs office while one of my kids parks in a regular spot, then joins me in going inside. Same in reverse when we leave. I wait outside while he retrieves the car. The spot is saved for one who truly needs it!
Only one thing worse than a Handicap parking cheater and that is the Handicap parking vigilantes. In my state it is legal to use someone's HC windshield tag if you are providing the transportation. I drop my mom off at Dr.'s, dentist (you name it), I usually go do her other errands, and all the people saying nasty things when I leave or return to pick her up. I have even had the cops called. They don't realize the person is in the office. Just because I am not the handicapped person does not mean I cannot use that space for 5 minutes. Wish people were more certain of a cheater before they called them a cheater.

The law should change if you are in a handicap spot and the police catch you , you lose your license for a month , now they will see what it’s like to be handicapped in a different way .
i have a handicap tag for my vehicle(due to my back and asthma issues). If i feel i can walk i wont use he space and take a regular space and walk, i always think someone needs the space worse than me even with my issues

Here in Texas we cannot tow from handicap spaces unless there is both a sign on a pole, and a wheelman painted on the ground ☹
