A: Yes. This business is NOT closed at night. It's very common for techs to visit in the overnight times in order to do maintenance on servers and systems. It's also possible that deliveries may need to be made during after-hours times.

A: Sometimes we do! It all depends on if we are able to catch what's happening live, but the company's techs have their jobs to do and are not always available to have their eyes glued to the parking lot cameras and be able to run outside.

Seeing everyone scramble for their cars when the trucks roll on by is pretty amusing.
I'm gonna catch flak for this but, yeah, it's just like turning the light on in a cheap motel and watching all the roaches scatter. Proves right there that they KNOW parking there is wrong, but don't do the right thing until they see they're about to be towed. Nice to see that self-preservation still supersedes self-entitlement at least.
I love the two chicks closest to the camera trying to get back in their car; the driver jumps in so fast she sets off her alarm and the passenger is looking back at the truck yanking the doorhandle every couple seconds.

We had that happen at the restaurant I worked at. We had 6 signs saying that parking was for customers only, and it was already a small parking lot. But always gotta have the idiots that park thinking "it's just a sign they aren't gonna really tow it". Yeah... well the restaurant owner's brother owns a towing company... soooo. It was fun.

Two eye, the customers / employees have authorized vehicle stickers, notifying it is a customer.

They give you a card to scan to get into the building, and ask for the information on your car so it can be registered. It shows up on the list the tow drivers have. And after a while they recognize the regulars.
I've worked at a data center in the past, and it's true that its operational 24 hours, and receive deliveries/visits during the night. This guy has WAY more signs than he needs, and people are still ignorant.
He kinda has to, the part of town thei building in has multiple bars and nightclubs, there are no less that 9 within a block radius of his building. So it goes without saying a large number of idiots attempt to park there and end up blocking his spaces.

I haven't seen a sign that warns that towing is done 24/7. I think people are mistakenly thinking the signs don't apply after hours since business is closed (but really not).

seriously what a stupid question in the FAQs ...Why don't you stop people from Parking. If a person drives, they have to be able to read, that's what the signs are for. I mean it's like at my parkade, it says "Small Cars Only" in the two spots at the end of the each row, and I work at a post-secondary institution. Guess who parks there? SUVs, Minivans, etc. Rarely do you see a compact car get the spot. People feel entitled.... until they get ticketed and towed
Yep, I've seen tools put a 2500 HD truck in a spot that is painted and marked Compact Car Only. Then they get ass pissed off when their shit gets towed.. All the flavors in the world and they still choose salty. I don't get it.
I've had no choice but to park my lifted F-150 in a "compact" spot multiple times at work because the people at compact cars want spots in the front, too.

TheARexasaurus yeah I watched 3 or 4 videos before some actually looks like they walked up to a sign. Parking is the main reason I avoid cities. That and no left turns were the bane of my existence in college.
You can see in other videos, there are a TON of signs. At least 6 and it's well lit. Read the FAQ in the description.

There is a large parking lot in a busy spot in town with lots of bars and restaurants but no where to park that is known to tow cars 24/7. They have spotters that sit in the lot and watch to see if you go in the business that the lot is for, if you don't go there then they swoop in and tow your car immediately.
It really isn’t all that amazing, through life experience people are taught that many tow away zones are not enforced heavily. So it’s a gamble taken. Oh wait, maybe you just wanted a moment to be righteous and talk shit. Sorry if I rained on that parade lol

We put tiny pebbles under the valve caps on a vehicle a drunk tow driver was coming to pick up. He strapped it down and while towing the air left the tires taking away the tension from the tie downs and when he went around a turn the vehicle shifted causing the tow truck to roll onto its side in the ditch. The person got a new car and the driver got a DUI and lost his business. He was a prick, he deserved it. He used to giggle and laugh when repoing and towing people’s vehicles. Wasn’t laughing when the other business’s driver came and repoed his tow truck and flatbed!😂🤣😂

In Orlando I talked with a tow driver that has a contract with a few areas similar to this, he said that he pulls over 20 cars a night (his yard is literally 3 blocks from the biggest violated area), as it's a "Police Parking Only" the tow charge is something around $250 just to the car out. (And he is the owner / operator of both the truck and the yard... cha ching... ).

All of the parkers have their cell phones up to their faces when they pull in and continue to mess with the phone while getting out and walking away. I will never forget when I was working part time for a university campus police department and we had identified whole rows of student sticker cars that were parked in the faculty parking lot. Signs were clearly displayed that parking was for staff and faculty only and that we would tow. We ended up towing over 20 cars that day. Ultimately, parents were paying their kid's bills, so it was the parents who were the most upset. LOL!!
Hats off to that guy who backed in, he made it so much easier for the tow truck.
That teamwork was exquisite and really shows what a little bit of cooperation can do.
All these drunks getting towed are probably avoiding a dui or possibly killing someone on the road. I’m sure they aren’t all drunk. But it’s probably valuable lesson for a lot of them, cheaper than dealing with the consequences of a dui or worse

I towed for a few years.. Dragging a car out while in park is a concern.. Ive done it in a "no other option" scenario but I would have put dollies on so nobody complains and charge more for additional services rendered. Also, no straps or lights? Are these guys amatures or what!? Whats fun is getting cube vans and shit that people dont know how you towed it with a reg. Truck. Get under, pop the trans into neutral and roll slow.. Always confuses em.. Just dont forget to pop back into park and reatach the arm.

They do strap them down, but around the corner. And I also agree, that these drivers are being lazy. They are more concerned with getting as much cars as they can for as little work as possible. So they don't do it properly and skip corners when they can.

If you live in a big city regardless of state if there a no parking sign or get tow don't freaking park there either you get to where your going early to get the good parking, or park a distance away in a area that won't tow you and if that isn't your style pay for a good parking spot. Big cities have a lot of truck drivers that would gladly tow anything to make a few extra bucks.
I owned a business years ago and we only had two bays for our vans to pick up and drop off supplies, and we occasionly would get people that would park there and so I can understand the policy on enforcement.

Had that at my work- people park in the employee lot that don't work there and when they get towed and come back at 6:30pm and confront you wanting to know why they're car was towed,all I'd do is point to the signs that say "unauthorized vehicles will be towed, permit parking only" BUT they're in a hurry in the morning and..... Then when they come back,"SURPRISE"😅😅😅😅
I get the odd argument at road closures where people are like "but I just need to get through there, just to the other side" or "I'm running late and this is bla bla bla"
sometimes there is literally a 6 foot deep hole spanning the entire roadway. They couldn't get through even if I wanted to let them lol. they just waste their own time crying about it when it would take barely a minute to drive around.
