  • Despite being infected and laden with sin and unappreciative for God’s provision, Israel continues to go through the motions of worshipping the Lord in Isaiah 1:1-17. As we see God’s response to their actions, may it be a reminder for us to not become ungrateful, continue to practice and celebrate sin or perform a pseudo-worship without any obedience behind it.

Brings tears to my eyes for all our sins we commit when we have such a perfect and forgiving Father. Please, Father God, open our eyes and our hearts to see what a wonderful and generous father you are to us. Let us praise you and thank you every day all day for your goodness and generosity. In Jesus name, please wake us up.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️

I love that I've found this channel❤. I work at a place with people who live and behave like "the world". I dedicated my life (all in) just short of 2 years ago (Nov 2021). I've lived and behaved like the world for 50 years. So, I have to guard my gates (eyes, ears & my mouth). I've been a little in Matthew and Luke but have decided to start in this book and watch every episode. I listen on my ear buds while at work and it truly helps me stay centered and focused on God's word rather than getting involved in meaningless and cringy conversations and it's my escape. I still listen to my Bible app but I listen to Pastor Brett explain what I'm reading and he does it in a way that I can understand it. And I like the corny jokes. Thanks for helping me bring Jesus to work with me everyday. You're dedication is extraordinary. God bless! I feel like a creeker now😂.

Thank you for sharing this study. It's helpful for me and my friends who are in chapters 36-39 of Isaiah this week. Sennacharib and king Hezekiah showing off his wealth. Never a good idea. But to hezekiah's credit, he was a praying man.

If you are looking for a Bible school that sticks to the word, consider Jackson Hole Bible college. It's a one-year Bible school that immerses students in the word. It can strengthen them before they go to a secular college. It is affiliated with Answers in Genesis folks. My daughter went there. When she came home, she was able to invite Jehovah's witnesses in and show them in God's word the Biblical truths. She was so knowledgeable about creationism. She is still a strong witness having gone over 20 years ago. My granddaughter is going to go next year. I am thrilled!
It is located on the outskirts of Jackson Hole. So beautiful there. Look into this quality school. Small, but mighty!

What did God say about up to the 3rd + 4th generation of those who hate Him? I believe when the parents eat sour grapes and the children's teeth are set on edge is referring to that. Now He says you pay for your own sins. We don't pay for our parents sins.

I want to see the terminology-abortion, changed into termination of life. Or how about killing? Abortion is just a euphemism for baby killing, used to soften the reality of the truth of what is really going on there. The use of language that is misleading and deceiving should be outlawed just as much as the very act of such practices.
