  • Ezekiel shares a parable and refutes a proverb in Ezekiel 17-18 to show the people in Jerusalem what will happen with the coming Babylonians and why they will be held accountable for their own sins. As we study how he implores them to instead turn from their sin and live, we gather insight into repentance, righteousness through Jesus Christ, and restoration.

    This is a touchy subject. What God has joined together....what if God didn't? What if the couple didn't seek God before marriage? I'm getting out of a marriage of ten years. It is unhealthy for me and my kids, and the abuse isn't physical, it's emotional. The stress from the marriage almost killed me. And no matter how much I tried and sought God and tried to do the biblical thing, my husband's heart never changed. He sees no fault in his ways and would never seek counsel, or God, or read the Bible because "he doesn't need to." Please seek the Lord if you are in this situation. The Jesus I know, would not want you to live in oppression.

      @@pamelamccormick5536 thank you. I struggle with it, as a Christian. I felt for a long time like something was wrong with me, like it was my fault. But that is exactly what the abuser does. I tried focusing on just how I could react in a loving way, and forgive quickly, but it was just too much. And the kids are happier this way, and I know Jesus wants me to protect them.

    💥💥💥May the Lord convict you that this is the AntiChrist Kingdom.
    Isaiah 30:20 Your Teacher will no longer hide Himself-with your own eyes you will see Him. 30And the LORD will cause His majestic voice to be heard and His mighty arm to be revealed, striking in angry wrath with a flame of consuming fire, and with cloudburst, storm, and hailstones.
    31 For ➡️Assyria will be shattered at the voice of the LORD; He will strike them with His scepter.
    32 And with every stroke of the rod of punishment that the LORD brings down on them, the tambourines and lyres will sound as He battles with weapons brandished.
    33 For Topheth has long been prepared; it has been made ready for the king (THE ANTICHRIST).
    We see Jesus being revealed and striking the earth with his wrath and ROD, and who is his enemy that he has come to fight? ASSYRIA, that is the area the ANTICHRIST comes from. That is the BEAST KINGDOM
    An again in the Book of Micah...
    Micah 5:5 2“ Bethlehem....out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel.... this man (JESUS from Bethlehem) shall be the peace, when the ➡️Assyrian (THE ANTICHRIST) shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.
    So we see Jesus bringing peace to Israel from this attacker, the ASSYRIAN, so he is obviously the ANTICHRIST FROM ASSYRIA.
    And again the third witness...
    Daniel 11:30
    For ships of Kittim shall come against him (the Antichrist), and he shall be cowed, and he shall return, and have indignation against the holy covenant
    Numbers tell us who these ships from Kittim are attacking
    Numbers @ But ships [shall come] from the coast of Kittim, and they shall afflict ➡️Asshur (ASSYRIA)
    Now the word of God should have convicted you that the Kittim Ships are coming against Antichrist in the Book of Daniel and Assyria in the book of Numbers ... thus ANTICHRIST IS FROM ASSHUR/ASSYRIA.
    Regards

I feel like this is a works based Way to pray. She lives in fear thinking that his sins are upon her. Can I give her scripture saying otherwise.? If there’s any other scriptures could you please post them for me?

      Apologies (a little) for responding to comments not directed my way, but this is a public forum, so. Here goes - Being saved "by grace through faith, not by works lest any man should boast" does mean that repentance of sin is not required for salvation, and it does not mean that sin does not bring lots of terrible things with it, and sometimes those terrible things certainly do impact people around them who weren't involved in the sin. To some extent, a person's salvation actually does depend on what they do and don't do. The Bible very clearly states in many places that people who do certain things are not under the covering of Christ and therefore remain under wrath. "Make no mistake - No one who practices these things shall enter heaven." That threat is as real as a heart attack. The Bible says that the sins of the fathers "shall be visited upon" their children down through the 4th generation. Your sister interprets that in a particular way, and to have particular meanings having to do with spiritual authority and all that. She might be right, but I think Brett's right that it's up to those children to resist the temptation that visits them, or confess and repent if they fall into it. Praying for them might help. Often God will do a work in someone's heart in response to the prayers of people who care for them. But we're not voodoo practitioners. We can't alter who is covered and who isn't through an exertion of our will that plays out in the form of a "prayer"! If I were you, I'd just make sure the prayers from you clearly, definitely and genuinely renounce and disavow your own involvement in any kind of sin, and request a work of God in the hearts of those you care about that they would do the same and be covered and blessed for it.

    • @shavais33
      @shavais33 Před 3 lety

      I feel like sometimes those "spiritual authority" wielders are in danger of sort of arrogantly trying to usurp the position of God. "I claim __ for __ in the name of __ !" Yeah. I'm pretty sure God keeps his own counsel regarding what is claimable and what isn't. Usurping God's position is a sin, which might remove the person who does it from the covering of Christ, thereby making Them a target for demonic attack.

Sometimes, it is just a butthole who likes to whoop up on women (or man). Those can be trained by stronger men(women) standing up for the woman(man)No matter what abuse is NOT ok. I have almost no friends, and have never had many for very long, because (I think.. although others who can see me more clearly than I can may correct me.. and anyway this is probably only part of it) I tend to have a lot of very strongly held, very unpopular opinions, and I have a very hard time keeping them to myself. I almost never agree with everything a pastor says, for example. But man! I'm really enjoying this guy! People like to believe things because they like idea better! WTF!? Not this guy. YAY!
    Only thing is the pre-trib rapture thing. I've always been post-trib, because.. an as-literal-as-is-reasonable interpretation that apply's Occam's Razor results in that obvious conclusion, or at least that's what I thought at the time when i read it, all those years ago. How are we "caught up to meet him" if he's not returning yet? And doesn't the context make it pretty clear that it's talking about his return? And he doesn't return until the abomination of desolation does its thing, which doesn't happen until the end, so..? ..but I'm no bible scholar. I'd very much like to hear a lot more about all sides of that debate. "But it doesn't make sense to bump up and bump down." What about half of what happens in the Bible makes sense? What about half of what happens in history makes sense? Nonsense happens, man. Reality is chaotic. It's non-causal. It literally can't be causal. (I'm talking about the whole origination thing. What caused the first thing? And if nothing caused that, what in the world makes us think that everything that ever happened after that was caused by something!? No! That's crazy talk! It's far more likely that reality only happens to be causal most of the time. The rest of the time it's probably not.) Saying that something doesn't make sense is a non-argument. Well.. let me put it this way: Saying that something must not be true if we can't make sense of it right now from the perspective we have right now is kind of a weak argument. And the argument that we're not appointed unto wrath seems a little weak to me too, because, I mean, tons of Christians have been persecuted and killed. Not being appointed unto God's wrath doesn't mean we're not persecuted and killed. Ok, the trouble during the tribulation results from God's wrath, but we could be present and be largely protected / excluded from that part of what's going on and still end up getting persecuted and killed. Not by God's wrath, by by the wrath of Humans. So those arguments seem a bit weak to me. But I want to hear the rest of the arguments! Because I'd Love to agree! I do agree that it sure does make sense that the world would go to hell in a hand basket pretty danged quick if all the God fearing people suddenly up and vanished. That might sound a bit narcissistic, but. I feel like history shows the truth of that.
    A hundred years ago (well..) I met this girl who worked at a salon who asked me if I was attached, and I wasn't at the time, and so she seemed to take an interest in helping me get on my feet socially, and she gave me the best haircut I'd ever had, and was talking to me about places to go to get some exposure. For a few weeks after that hair cut, I did notice girls looking at me in a way they normally didn't. It was the most amazing thing! Who knew hair could do that!? But during our conversation, somehow or another, after the haircut was pretty much done, I can't remember exactly how, but the matter of conservative vs liberal came up, and I had to confess to having a bit of a traditional conservative bent. She wrinkled her nose and said "Oh no, you don't want to be a *conservative*!" She almost spat the word, as though it were a piece of something vile in her mouth that was in danger of inducing vomiting. I said "Well it's not really about what I want! It's more about what I happen to be convinced is true." But this was not a thing that made any sense at all to her. "Oh, truth is whatever you want it to be." "Hell No It's Not! And it sure better not be, because if truth is whatever the heck we want to be, then we're all in an enormous world of hurt, because good luck getting us to agree! And if we don't, we kill each other!" "No we don't!" "Oh hell yes we do! You better believe we do! If you don't think so, what the heck do you do with the whole of history!? Put your head in the sand!? 'La la la la' " Ok, the conversation didn't go exactly like that, but. More-or-less. I tried going to her a second time, but she didn't work nearly as hard on my hair after that. Go figure, lol. /sigh!
    "Oh but we've transcended out of all that now." Right, that's why the CCP is hunting down hundreds of thousands of "political dissidents" (and whoever smells like them or gets fingered by somebody as being one) and putting them in concentration camps and killing them. And that's why 1500 missiles got fired into Israel in the space of 20 minutes the other day. And that's why democrats and republicans are about ready to start shooting each other. Oh yeah, we're all a lot smarter and wiser now. History never repeats. La la la la!
    "Those repugnicans are committing the most heinous, despicable crime that's ever been committed on the face of the earth! They're trying to take away our right to vote!!!" Right, because you have gosh darned right to steal the election with aircraft carrier loads of illegal votes. "Ah, that's normal." Yep.

    • @shavais33
      @shavais33 Před 3 lety

      Eh, but I have to admit that the "voter id" idea scares me a bit. I'm not sure I like that idea. You shouldn't have to present an ID to put a ballot into a box. And presenting an ID and then proceeding to the ballot drop wouldn't stop someone from slipping in several ballots of dead people etc anyway. So.. no. I think we just need to stop using Dominion vote counting machines (or any vote counting machines that are connected to the Internet for that matter!) and every ballot should be examined, while all the other representatives watch, by representatives from all parties before being opened. And the whole process should be recorded by representatives from each party, carefully enough that the signatures and addresses and so on on the ballots are clearly visible in the recording.
