HBW268 - On The Night-shift

Here is an old fashioned long form brewday video for a change. This was a very rare night time (last night) brew session which I thought I'd throw up rather than editing out all the nonsense as per usual. No intros, no outros, just me and you killing time on a brewday.

Ifeel you on the GoPro…I really thought it was going to revolutionize brew day footage. Nope. Ican’t wait until I can do some more evenings in the brewhouse. Still a bit too cold and wet in the evenings here to be in my uninsulated brewhouse. Bitter sounds like a good beer going into the summer months. Might have to place that in the pipeline as I really enjoyed the last one I brewed. I also have paramount, or as we have to call it now “sky showtime” through work (I work for a streaming service). I also immediately went into the Star Trek. Tried out Yellowstone but I couldn’t take it for long. All that fake glorification of the tough guy American shit. Felt like I was just at thanksgiving listening to my dad and his brothers trying to out tough guy each other. Oh well at least got to see Oppenheimer and enjoy a film about the great things that happen when AMerica and Denmark collaborate. Anyway I have to get back to ensuring the Danish public can watch whatever the kardashians are up to.

Is there no insulation above the ceiling in your place? If not then what actually is up there? I find Yellowstone funny as it is so over the top but trying to be deadly serious at the same time. Any scene in a bar I'm just waiting for it to kick off

I'm with you on the brewing times. These days I typically brew in the mornings. Same with packaging the beer. And like yourself, I've been trying to limit the late-night drinking and it's really made a difference. Thanks for talking about that. Cheers

Cheers Skid, yes the late night sessions were not good for my head but so far the earlier nights seem to be working and I'm less stressed out in general. I quite enjoyed doing the evening brew and splitting the cleaning until the next day. I might do that again.

Never done an evening brew I think I’d struggle to not drink and completely get lost. I love clipper yeast but never used it in a bitter but I may now 👍another cracking vid cheers 👍🍻
