- Inside Edition has met some extraordinary children and they continue to serve as an inspiration to us. In 2008, we met Cody McCasland, who was born with no legs and was later fitted with prosthetics. His story helped a soldier who lost his legs in battle. In 2010, Maddox Flynn and his family flew from Canada to America so the toddler’s life could be saved. In 2013, we met Audrina Cardenas, who was born with her heart outside her chest.
His mom said it right 'cody never really feels sorry for himself'.. yes that kind of spirit will take him far
Cody: 20
Maddox: 15
Audrina: 9
they’re so big now!
Cody’s laugh and smile is so cute!
My parents told me the story how I had PDA heart surgery ten days after I was born since I’m 3 months premature. They said I was baptized in the hospital just in case I wasn’t gonna make it. I’m 17 now and I’m feeling well (I still have my scar).
👏
I am heart surgery when I was a baby and I actually died but God brought me back to live and now I have a scar on my back and now I am 18 years old.👍🏼💋❤️
Samee I was 1 pound
@Susan Catalan wait..... Pretty sure god can only bring you back to life but in heaven-
Wha
Such a happy little boy in spite of his disability. Laughing while running. Hilarious! 🤣🤣🤣👍🥰👏👏👏
Im glad we could meet him!
Also there is a kid i think from Alabama who has a large mass on his face. I hope a doctor will help him probono.

Cody is an inspiration to celebrate! Listening to him laugh as he runs made me smile and cry at the same time! What a bundle of joy!!!!!
Hope he will have a great life
he is so strong.
Cody running with the biggest grin on that slick hospital floor just shows how kids have no fear, it’s the cutest thing ever
I hope all these little angels a flowery path. Such brave souls.
Mom hurt because little kids would cry when seeing your baby isn't the kids fault.
His little laugh melts my soul ❤️
The little boy in red is a sweet kid too. The way he rubbed his head was just so kind
I’m 20 and I too have survived a great deal
20 years of life next month 21 years😳😳😳
Happy early birthday! :)
Is nobody going to talk about how adorable that "here I come" was?
This made me cry tears of joy.

Cody is so adorable!!!
Cody is amazing
Why health care system of Usa so expensive....come on many nations less powerful give way cheaper treatment....USA made health care system a way to earn money which is totally unnecessary...
He's adorable
He is so sweet 😊💙
Wow amazing little boy and so cute aw
I CANT get over the fact that he calls them stubbies 🥰🥰🥰
Continue to inspire me great ones
I had to rewind the video to hear again that each of Cody’s legs cost $50,000😳😳
Yeah, I was like what…..They were made of metal, plastic and rubber. Why in the world would they cost 50k? I could maybe understand if they were those high tech bionic prosthetics, but not those.
Any updates on these children?
I thank God for my gift, but *the gift of "running laughter"? Who can imagine that glorious fulfillment? You sure it's not a super power?!*
She's a miracle baby
I think cody is doing something because he running so i hope he's doing track and field in college.
the little baby the best part :D
The story of the boy called Maddox is so cute
You guys have to do another interview with Cody and Aurdina! Cody would be 20 and Aurdina 9. It’d be nice too see where their lives have been since then.
part 3.... what a beautiful little girl! and what awesome mom n dad she has! !! so wonderful to see that we still have humanity out there! id so love to see everyone be kind and show the people around you your smile! love is great! cool we have the ability to love many people and not just a few! we can all love each other across the globe
Pretty sure I swam at the same pool Cody did for high school (Keller isd). He was always upbeat and pushing himself.

Ricky Berwick is better.
I’m disgusted and happy for the child and I’m disgusted of the heart from this so many gross photos you took of the heart outside of the body why did you need to show that so many times!
14 days at Harborview in Seattle, WA Cost about $350,911.27 for a fractured tibia, 🩸 clots, etc…. Yea I’d bet upwards of a couple million $
