My Ecodiesel has been in the shop 4 times in less than 9000 miles. Sensor problems and DEF system malfunctions. RAM has finally agreed to buy it back from me. Yesterday the dealership didn't have a oil filter in stock for a oil change. Poor service in all regards. Took 3 weeks to get the parts to fix my truck the last time. Won't buy another.

MikesCarInfo He is full of crap this comment has been posted to a bunch of other RAM videos saying the same damn thing. "4 times in 9000 miles", and 'agreed to buyback but something went sour" blah blah

For your info, they bought the truck back. The dealer refused to accept the truck as a trade in on the new vehicle, RAM wrote a check after I refused their earlier proposal that I pay 14,000 dollars over the asking price of the first replacement vehicle. That's what went sour.

I squeezed my heart till the last drop for a year now to save up some money. Now I can afford a basic C7 stingray... but I need a practical car that can survive.. I'm storming between the Challenger or Charger, RAM Crew cab, and the like.. any opinion would be appreciated. thanks

The Ram will retain more value than a Challenger or Charger, by far, making it less expensive to own in the long run. It's better finished than either in Laramie form, but it won't carve corners. The C7 is a toy for someone with another real car for practical use. A Ram 3.0 Ecodiesel in Big Horn or Laramie trim will probably get the same overall fuel economy as those other vehicles and again, resale will blow them away (no idea on the vette). My last ride in a Charger was 3-4 years back, but it was a rental car and not impressive at all.

These sell for about $52,000. Here is a similar truck for reference: www.vannunderwood.com/New-2014-RAM-1500-Laramie-Whiteville-NC/vd/22869677
