I admired the way he maintained his cool and didnt chase Caleb for a fight. This was wise play to avoid any unnecessary technical and we need him to have lesser fouls in the playoffs.

It wasn't a basketball play and it absolutely was purposeful to injure Tatum. There was no "he collided with caleb martin", martin purposefully tried to injure the opponent's star player just as the heat do series after series, year after year.
They did it to him last year on the first play of game 7
