Looks like it works good on brush, but will it pick up same size log as my L3400 will lift with forks?
Look at Our Community Tab. Just added a Couple Images of Large Tree we picked up with the Massey Ferguson 1526 (Mid-Compact) and Worksaver ESCG-48S. Lifting Capacity is more limited by the Tractor/Loader than the Grapple. Kubota L3400 is a Full Compact not smaller Mid Compact like the Massey Ferguson 1526 is. L3400 is more like a Massey Ferguson 1835E Compact. Bigger Tractor, Bigger Loader = More Lift Capacity, no matter the brand. A Grapple Secures the Load with clamping force whereas pallet fork is only under the load and is unsecured in transit.
Is it a lot slower than hydraulic?
Hydraulic Grapple Speed is dependent on Tractor GPM (Gallons per Minute) and Hose & Fitting Sizes that can restrict flow rate. High Volume Hydraulics like Massey Ferguson can be pretty quick but other brands with lower flow or restrictors or use of small fittings could be slower plus the Speed of the Engine also effects flow rates of hydraulics. Electric is the same speed all the time and no matter the brand of hydraulic volume of the tractor.
Hey Doug nice demo on the Worksaver ESCG 48S electric grapple. I have a couple of ???'s Will this work with the L100E, & what is the $$$ of the unit without dealer install, & can you order one from the manufacture direct. This looks like it would work so well with my M-F 1526, & my 1 ton dump truck 🤔. Last ? can you put a 3rd function on a L100E, & which is more economical to install. Thank You for the video.

L100E does not have a Factory 3rd Function Kit Offering. If it did your looking in the $1,500 to $1,800 Range for Parts (not Installed) Plus price of a grapple. So it costs more money. If you have Skid Steer Quick Attach the ESCG-48S will connect direct to it.
