Today, I'm visiting the home of the late President William V.S Tubman located in the heart of Harper City. If the Tubman family can't renovate this house they should try find an investor who can transform the building to a hotel and make money.

All you think about is money. Shame. These mansions were built from looted public funds. Living in luxury while surrounded by poor communities. They will rise up against you one day.

His house is the most beautiful despite it being ruined during the war. He built his home with a fixed mind and well planned 🤝. This should be used as a tourism site.

Lauretta, I enjoyed this video. Mr. Toe is well informed. He knows the actual Liberian history. The generation today needs to sit on the rooftop of the former president house to hear this history. Many Liberians don't know these things. A lot is yet to be heard.

That house is massive! Agree on the views! Beautiful place. The funny thing is they don't even need to do too much renovation to use it for tourism. It's just about the marketing.

The problem with Africans and black people in general. We suffer from this ancient mindset of being wealthy rulers over a poor community, being worshipped by groupies and blind supporters who depend on us. But there is no security when your mansion is surrounded by poverty, discontent and squalor. It's a recipe for an uprising. Someone will overthrow you and the cycle keeps going on just like that. True security is found in empowering your people and uplifting their standard of living.
