5.11 is my favorite brand of tactical gear and equipment.
I bought my first 5.11 gear 7 years ago. Got the belt 1 3/4" in. thick nylon and pants. Needless too say I have used belt almost everyday since and still am. Pants still in great condition as well. By far best quality cargo pants and gear and backpack out there.👍👍👊

I'm a huge fan of their pants. I've owned several for the past couple of years. But I'm just not into full tactical gear. Why? Because when the SHTF, all the gears screams "shoot me first".
Who is the biggest threat? The guy in full obvious tactical gear or the guy going full "grey" and looks like he just stepped off a college campus? Don't get me wrong. I have EDC. I even have a 511 pen light as part of that. But my gear is hidden. On the street I look like just another office worker. And if I'm carrying a bag it isn't a 40L pack busting at the seems with molle attachments. It looks like it is a everyday backpack with just the essentials.
Now I get that this video is targeting a group that is still active in the Public Safety / Military organizations. But when you go full tactical and your strapped you stick out. Your body language and your carry scream out that you are out of place. That is not what the average person wants or needs.
I just don't like something that is maybe like 32 liters that is already heavy while empty and molle attachments are kind of a waste like you don't need 50 ways to attach something, you just need one optimal place. The biggest thing missing is a water bottle pouch though. Also it's like the hiking bags will always be superior because they are optimized to carry long distance and are durable and light.

Never so disappointed, have tactical belt that won't hold up my shorts & a cell phone. Lots of hype, no more 511 gear for me. Buy a standard issue Boy Scout belt for better results
