This is definitely one of the places to visit in Greece for incredible beauty and an adventure hike to remember. Train travel in Greece is easy and it was only a 4-hr trip from Athens.

ABOUT US:
As the retirement travelers, we have always dreamed of traveling, but we never in a million years thought we would become travel vloggers and start a CZcams channel. But, that is what we did! We work hard every day to become better and create something that others will enjoy. Having a community of friends, old and new, follow our journey is fun and exciting to us.
In 2019, we achieved our goal of visiting every state in the union in our Airstream. We also visited every national park in the lower 48. We are big believers in lists, so of course we plan to see the remaining 12 parks in the next few years.
In 2021, we made the big decision to extreme downsize to just a suitcase and a small backpack, each. We started our journey around the world beginning in Central America. We hope that over the next ten years, we will have seen many beautiful things, made many memories and new friends, and shared the experience with our children and grandchildren.

Just came back from Greece absolutely beautiful stunning country very very unique and went to meteora what a magical place left us speachless never seen anything like this place no words to describe it a peace of heaven on earth

I went to these bout 25 years ago!! Via a tour bus. Flabbergasting structures. Women were required to wear long skirts to enter. There was a basket of skirts with elastic waists for pulling on over pants. Do you remember if that was still required?
Amazing place. Yes, they still have a basket (probably the exact same skirts 🤣). Women need to have knees covered.

How long was the hike to the top? Bev had the hard job of holding the selfie stick and filming while hiking!
I’m trying to decide if I should visit Meteora or Corinth. We don’t have time for both. But when I see you’re video, I think Meteora is a place I can’t miss.
How did you get your train tickets? Online?

Off topic, as recently new to your channel, so still catching up, but just wanted to ask, are you slow travelers, i.e., staying/renting for one mth or more, in one location?? My husband & I are 2.5yrs out from early retirement & are looking into the slow travel lifestyle through Europe. By the way, hello from USA, great info so far!
Thanks for watching and glad you are enjoying our channel. We don’t necessarily do slow travel, but we have been traveling regionally in Europe this year. For example, 6 weeks in northern Italy, but in 6 different places located 1-2 hours apart by train. 1 week per location in Europe this way minimizes plane flights, but still enables us to see many places.
