Tony nominee Will Swenson is currently having a ball as Tick/Mitzi, one of the three reigning queens at Priscilla Queen of the Desert. He recently stopped by our studio to talk with Broadway.com Editor-in-Chief Paul Wontorek about Showgirl-ing Steve Kazee to get close to Audra McDonald in 110 in the Shade, sneaking a listen at the Jesus Christ Superstar album as a Mormon youth (he now identifies as a "not any-Mormon") and working well with gays. Swenson opened up about his Puerto Rico-set proposal to Audra, how the relationship has changed him and the "mayhem" backstage at Priscilla Queen of the Desert. I'm so glad I got to see this interview. I know it's been 10 years since they did it, but after reading about the Neil Diamond musical, I started googling Will some more and I got all this info about his Mormon past and I got so curious, though I didn't want to judge. This was fascinating. ❤❤
