Josh is incredible
For real
Tone is fantastic
Fantastic player!!
As a guitar teacher and always willing to improve my teaching method, i am wondering what Joshua means by "chapter #1 Home Scales" ? Is he really starting from zero and the major scale + teaching the basic drop 2 and 3 quadads OR is any beginner wanting to follow this course already supposed to know those basics of the basics ? Thank you for enlightening me ! Might purchase depending on the answer. Joshua Meader is a incredibly talented and musical guitarist ! So i am very curious to discover him as an instructor.
CĂłmo toca ese robot!
Is this course suitable for intermediate guitarists? đ
I've listened to his playing. Hopefully 300 BPM Giant Steps is expert level.
It's a Licks? Or a Full Instruments? đ€
Phrases don't have levels.
There are just things that are difficult to play.
A lot of really good phrases are simple.
The high level of the phrase has nothing to do with the difficulty of playing. Even with three single notes, there are times when the level is high due to the rhythm and spacing.
Lack worship style
Can anyone name one great jazz album or song by Josh Meader? That's what I thought, pretentious af!
What is about his instruction content that upsets you so? Not all the best players are good teachers, and this applies to many activities. He happens to be both. He has a long way to go before he's a certified legend, but the world is just waking up to him.
Much like other mega technicians like Gambale, Lane, Holdsworth, Marchbank, his music is not very nice, but his playing and technique on its own is so phenomenal, it needs to be studied by serious musicians. This is a rare gift. I've got my eye on everyone in the scene, and his approach stands out massively.
