I have often looked at the monthly Doodlewash challenges as well as World Watercolor Month when I have been short of ideas about what to paint, but have been a bit put off at the idea of trying to paint something which I know is totally beyond me, but your ideas about how to interpret the prompts has encouraged me to try again, with a bit of mind mapping/brainstorming to see what inspiration I can get from the prompts.
I had looked at the prompts and thought no, I can’t do that ….. but having heard your excellent ideas and advice I think I will give it a go. Thanks Liz ….wise words as always!

Yes, I am prepared for WorldWatercolorMonth, the promps are translated and a watercolourbook with 30 sheeds is on the desk. But wehre are the videos? Where do I finde the work of the others ? If you go on the side of WatercolorMonth you find only years old videos . . . . .

Thanks for this Liz. Painting every day is sometimes just not possible, and I’ve tried WWW several times but “Failed” every time. I’ve been thinking about it for a bit, for now, and had kind of decided to try to do it this year, lol, then saw the prompts and went Eck. Your idea of using books as daily prompts is brilliant. I have several I haven’t cracked open and this is a great time to so. I also have some new watercolours ☺️ to swatch out. My month looks a bit less pressured now, Liz. Thank you so much! 🧑🎨🦩🌺

I wouldn’t be a good ambassador, as I hadn’t started yet! we’ve had guests.

it’s easy to get overwhelmed by these challenges, but on the other hand you can get so much out of them. Have fun!

agreed, painting to a prompt every day just doesn’t work for me, but it’s so nice to be part of a global happy event.
