I will wait expansion for the TD- 17 drum module!
Hello, I purchased expansion for the TD-30. can i use this packs to load in to TD- 17 drum module? Thanks
Sorry, but TD-30 expansions will not work with any other modules.
Hi is it possible to import your td30 kits into a td20x module? Also an error occurred at the 19:22 minute mark of your video.
It isn't possible to "down" grade like that. As I mention in the video, there is more data in a 30 file. If you attempt to load that file into the 20/20X, it will simply tell you the file is corrupt. (or something like that) Simply put, there's too much info that doesn't match what it's looking for. That's not an error at 19.22. It's just a quick cut where I probably should have not cut so much time. (I was erasing a breath lol)
Ya I didn't think that was possible. I'm still an original owner of the td20 with the tdw card since it was introduced in 2004. I might purchase the mimic in the near future. I haven't played one yet but I'm sure it sounds great. Sorry to bore you ( I'm also erasing a breath).
Thanks for the video. Can you create your own expansions or sounds and load them in to the TD30?
I’m not sure I understand the question. You can copy any kits or instruments from any of our expansions to create your own “custom” kits and or backups.
@@VExpressionsLTD I know that with the td50 you can import wav sounds as one shot samples but with the td30 I know you can’t import wav samples directly. I was wondering if I could create an expansion pack on my computer with my own wav files and load it in to the TD 30?
If you cannot import wavs, how would a computer change that? No, the 30 cannot accept wavs in any manner.
@@VExpressionsLTD i was guessing that expansion packs are made on computers
No, they are created within the module.
if i have a drum preset from a td-27, could I upload that one preset to my td-30
Nope. These modules don’t work like that.
@@VExpressionsLTD ok thank you, so it only works from the same module
Correct.
@@VExpressionsLTD ok thank you for the info
Please do this for td-17 also! Thx
I've not heard the 17 can import anything; but we will, of course, be adding a QuickStart video for the 17 in a few months when we release our first pack for it. :)
Can't wait to see some TD-25 videos, I purchased one of your expansion packs for it, (Records) and I absolutely love it. I do want to upgrade the module to either the TD-30 or the Mimic, so this video is great if I go the 30 route, thanks Alan!!! P.S. I laughed my ass off when you said.... and there's Nickelback... the worst band in history.... LMFAO!!!!!!!!!
Chris is finishing up the next 25 pack over the next month, recording demo samples, and then I'll be nabbing it for videos. I won't lie. The 30 is a great module. The Mimic is if you just must have the true realistic sounds. As I've said many times, I still love the 30, 50 & Mimic. The Mimic does probably come in on the top for me lately, but there are definitely times the 30 and 50 rule their niche. Glad you're enjoying Records. Not sure what Chris has up his sleeve, but I'm sure the next pack will rock as well. Long live Nickelback! :D
How am I supposed to see your lap top screen in this tutorial. You just lost my vote
This was back when I was still learning Premiere. Sorry for the inconvenience. I do more zooming in a later video: czcams.com/video/sTSUSSdeDZM/video.html
You are so scattered., unorganized thus confusing
It's a complicated subject. Maybe I'll re-do it. Maybe I'll just delete it. It's all in the manuals anyway.
