Can’t beat some stripes on a lawn to really make the space pop! A nice view for the customer and for passers by to admire. Nice one chap.

Yeah far amount to do. Got a few large projects lined up over the coming months. Wall around the pool coming down. New fencing, wild flower area going in and custom build mower shed. Should keep me busy onto of the maintenance 😜

Nice job as usual mate and you have some cracking properties on your round Chris. I’m hoping to eventually run in a similar way to you where I can get a few decent sized properties who have the means to facilitate compost heaps and allow me to look after the gardens on a broader scale than just the lawns. I’ll setttle for the small gardens for now though whilst I get up and running 😊

That’s a big old lawn Chris. If this was today, you were lucky -here in Essex we’ve had snow and sleet showers all day and bitterly cold so no chance of cutting grass. I’ve got two Hayters- one is an old push model which I’ve had for over 30 years and I keep it for my lawns at home. The other is a harrier 41 which I use on some of my customer’s lawns. I have to say, I don’t think the newer one will last 30 years! Also , I think the cut and stripe are actually better with the old one. Also find that Hayter collection shutes are too restricted especially when the grass is wet.
Nice job as usual. Have a good weekend!

Hi Simon. No this was earlier in the week. I had a workshop day today due to the snow in Kent.
This is one of three lawn areas at this client.
Tbh am not a fan of this hayter. I've had it from new (a few months before the new pro models came out) and never been impressed with it. Especially the collection in damp/wet conditions. I used to have a domestic 41 and that collected better imo.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 👍 enjoy your weekend

Nice stripes mate, that's a big lawn to do, looked damp, did the hayter live up to its representation, green hands.
    👍👌

Hey Chris no chance of using the ride on on this lawn?

Yeah I could but it wouldn't look as nice. I cut the other three lawn areas with the tractor mower.

Is the drive working properly? Looks like your pushing it, looks hard work🤔🤷

I wondered if anyone would notice how slow it's running.
The drive works but is very slow. A combination of needing a new cable (got crushed in the handles) and wet grass getting trapped between the roller and back bar slows it up even more. Plus being over 6ft tall my stride is a bit much for the bag.
