I am from the uk ,love the quilts.they can be very expensive . Would look so pretty on a bed .
The quilt has blocks that were my sheets from the early 80’s
I would use that "heavy" vase with some bamboo sticks and such in it and sit it on the floor.... its really cute...
Inuit is the word for Artic and Alaskan peoples. That looked like West Coast First Nations art to me though. Nice find!😉

Those 3 little black signs are not just farmhouse but fit in any booth. The lines are art deco, contemporary, modern, farmhouse, boho, they fit in anywhere.

That rounded bottomed vase goes into a wire plant stand where you just have a circular piece with wire legs and the vase would drop down into. That way it shows off the coolness of the vase. You can probably find one easy enough in a thrift store. Shouldn't be expensive.

Oh my, at 13:45 you came across picture of young girl looking at bird which is "Spring Song". Gosh, I grew up with that picture hanging in hall near our wall phone. However, that one looks like it lost some color. Maybe google Spring Song. Everytime I have seen it for sale in pictures for estate sales, by time I'm able to get there, it has already been sold.
My Spring Song is at least 60 years old.

I hope you don't mind me pointing out something you may have missed - I'm not trying to tell you your business - but @2:35 there was just a glimpse of a basket that was maybe a chicken or a duck, and it looked like something called "Shanghai wicker," which can go for big bucks. It could have been a knock off, but I wanted to put Shanghai wicker on your radar, if you didn't know of it already.
I also saw a comment regarding the quilts that weren't technically quilted. That type of quilt, with the yarn, is called a tack quilt. It's a thing.
The green toad artwork was awesome! I remember, from an art class waaaayyyy back, that style of art was always attributed to tribes in the Pacific Northwest. I guess Alaska could also be Pacific Northwest?

The quilts aren’t actually quilted. They are “tied”, which takes way less time and won’t bring as much $$. I like the new thrift shop.
🤟🖖💛 I can certainly see why they would not be worth as much is a gorgeous intricate quilt, so you all have helped me consider the keywords tied and tack quilts… and I thank you. I feel like I got a good enough deal and they’re in such excellent shape that I should be able to make a little profit as well as make a buyer happy
@@YvonThriftyRich I've known a lot of quilt makers and all of them would call that "tacked".
Old farmhouse quilting and crazy quilting used a lot of the tie method. That is still quilting as you piece the entire top piece together and sandwhich with a batting and backing and some take a considerable amount of time. I’ve made lots of twin and queen size crazy quilts that were tied and they have taken months of work. So dismissing it as not quilting is not correct.
Where is that thrift store located? I don't have any that nice and cheap here in FL
