I'm pretty sure he worked for it, I've watched alot of his clips to prove your statement, But after you've worked hard for it, it STILL must be a great feeling to wake up a know you'll be great...cause you worked ur ass off for it.

It´s probably a Avedis medium ride of 22 or 24, and a oriental china of zildjian... It´s a random combination created probably for himself.... I seed "probably" because, are the cymbals he´s normaly usally.

i like hearing him with normal hihats. the 18s and 19s just hog the mix with their roar when open. i thought it was cool as shit to see him play with the big hats and huge rides all over the place but i think this cymbal setup actually works with this music better. let the hating begin!

I used to think Billy Cobham was the greatest of all time until I saw Thomas Pridgen.
This could be considered drummer harassment. Plus the takes weren't so good.
I think Pridgen is an amazing drummer but he seems to lose all sense of musicality when he does these exhibitions.
That's because he's doing an exhibition duh! Everyone and every drummer wants to see his best, what he's got of course he's going think outside the box. Drummer's want to see him smash these kits, hell I'd get a kick out of him if he pulled a Keith Moon and blew the kit up. No pun intended but I think when this kid gets done playing I swear I see smoke coming out of his kit. I lost my head for a minute, getting back to what you were saying, you must be a way better player than this kid, but I'm thinking you couldn't carry his sack! You know his stick bag, let's not visualize let's just move on, LOL. Just fooling with you, be good.
