The Patagonian Expedition is a 95% self funded video documentary project following my trip in 2012/2013. Our aim is to show you the beauty of the rather unknown parts in Patagonia alongside with the famous spots.
Beside beautiful landscape you can expect loads of information and our personal experiences and struggles along the way.
The whole trip was executed over the course of 2 months using mostly local transport such as busses, cars and trucks. A big thank you goes to Lufthansa for providing the flights into and out of South America in their new Premium Economy Class!

I am an old man but I would love to travel though Patagonia. My late wife and I hiked in the US Sierras, the Appalachians and from Kathmandu Nepal to the base of Everest.
wish you all the best, RIP
Wow what amazing places you’ve been. Be proud of those and yes aspire to more. Keep your dreams alive!
Not sure why for weird other comments sad tone.
It's never to late - a lot of those places have a good infrastructure and hikes of several levels. I've met travelers if all ages in my timedown there. You've got an impressive record of places I've never been to but would love to go to 😉
You can still see a lot without any hyking…. You can do a lot by car and tours and staying in comfortable hotels ( a bit pricey but worth it ) . Drink some Pisco sour and enjoy !
Hi Mr Kennedy , I am from Chile 🇨🇱 but never gone that far south in my Country the south of Chile is beautiful, I live in the states for a long time, Bless🇺🇸
Chile is a beautiful country
Fitzroy River in Western Australia is named after the same person. I have not travelled past Chiloé Island, which is an adventure itself. Chile is a beautiful country and I recommend everybody should visit before they die.
Patagonia is definitely one of the most beautiful and beautiful places in the world
Soooo beautiful and it’s sooo similar to Canada 🇨🇦 there both really nice and cool and the trees look exactly the same and the color of the water is so similar I love Chile 🇨🇱 and Argentina 🇦🇷 and Canada 🇨🇦!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is amazing that the people in South America have this type of places who likes the famous parks in North America.
Es hermosa la Patagonia. La amo. Saludos desde Punta Arenas, Chile.
The most adventurous and complete tour through Patagonia, I have ever seen. Absolutely fabulous! Many thanks Steve
Chile
Hi hola . Soy argentino .

Argentina y Chile comparten paisajes y naturaleza unica.
@@ibarragon222 y tiene mejores carreteras, sorry not sorry JAJA
Before I die.... I need to go there!!!...... exelent video.... love it!!!
Too it's on my bucket list if I could put it like that I am going to make my journey to one of three places Patagonia Glastonbury in Somerset UK or Cuenca Ecuador. I'm very curious as to which one the ruins are going to tell me to go to first I don't know is it Patagonia just pulls at my heartstrings really powerfully. Anyway thanks for what you said I agree

Awesome! I made Torres del Paine "O" circuit and it's unreal!
Beautiful, I wish I could get into this type of traveling soooo bad
I was in USHUAIA 5 days,,,,,,,priceless impressions and memories🏔🇦🇷…..👍🇪🇸📽
@@amairaninaoca8855 no jjaja falso
@@amairaninaoca8855 that "triple" of Patagonia is just a dry steppe, a desert or "pampa" without fauna, shape and less people inhabiting it; only sheep ranches without much attraction or beauty. in Chile there are fjords and channels, Norway style, where you can sail Viking style. Only Chile has that, the only one in Latin America, and there is no more! 🧐🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱 👍
Having been there a few years ago, Patagonia is the most magical place I’ve ever been to. This film brought back some fantastic memories.
O Patagonia! ❤️ My most favorite place in the whole world!
I feel so lucky to have had a holiday in Patagonia, in both Argentina and Chile in 2015 and I can thoroughly recommend going there. The hiking in El Chalten and Torres Del Paine is stunning. I didn’t manage to go to Bariloche, so I’d better start saving my money again and make it happen.
Patagonia now belongs to Joe Lewis. A Jewish state is being created there.
Your documentary on Patagonia was excellent. The places you showed us were breath taking. I got scared the way you guys moved in the glacier tunnel. Places ,people, dogs and what not. Also special hi to your partner who gave you a good company.Liked her liveliness and presentation
I'm so glad and happy to see part of where I was born Chile. Thank you for given others a glimpse of the beautiful parts of Chile and Argentina. God bless you for the wonderful work you all did.
I loved Patagonia! Seeing the Torres del Paine in person was unbelievable. The hike was very beautiful in it of itself! Also, kayaking in Grey Lake to see the glaciers was amazing! Thank you for sharing this documentary and bringing up some beautiful memories for me!

La Patagonia linda 🇨🇱

Congratulations! Very beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
you TWO should get an AWARD!!! BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn! you combined 100 hrs of Vlog in 1 hr...Kudos...but I enjoy slow paced vlogs most !

edge of the world, what a calm and unique place
Absolutely amazing scenery!!
Patagonia is an awesome place 💚💛Thank you so much for the wonderful tour of the place through your lense! I am manifesting hiking the entire circuit soon🤞
Your video has inspired me to hike the Trek W and visit Isla Magdalena, Perito Moreno 3 years ago . I've been hooked to the outdoors ever since. Thank you Steve!
Unfortunately, I have visited just Torres del Paine.
I'm from Brazil and I know what's the natural beauty. I have visited seven states in Brazil (northeast and southeast). I also have visited Spain.
I think Torres del Paine is the most beautiful place than I have visited!
Breath taking! Wow!
No dull moment watching this while video, i love the scenery..I am in love with the Patagonia, it is pretty unique😍
I was just watching but I feel so exhausted with your adventures, at the same time I am just in awe for people like you with so much determination, strength, bravery and power of mind to survive such challenging journey. Kudos to your future adventures!!!

This is the best Patagonian travel series I've ever watched. Thank you very much!
Amazing views. Much love from Guam 🇬🇺
We both claim it, we both have it, we both love it.
Don't let Patagonia divide us, it's beauty should unite us.
🇨🇱❤🇦🇷
Very well done. Good energy by both of you. Incredible scenery. I will be visiting Patagonia late December 2022, can’t wait! Thank you.

Vielen Dank für euere Sigthseeingtour. Eine herrliche Reise durch Patagonien, Chile, Argentinien.
Great documentary. Beautiful scenery!
This is extreamly beautiful....thanks !
Omg I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this! Thank you!
Amazing documentary! So awesome to see that south america has such as wonderful places, landscapes and lots of touristic attractions!!! Supporting your videos from Colombia. ;)
I have always wanted to learn about this region of the world ever since seeing "The Argentinian Gauchos" perform in Reno, NV. I met my wife in Latin America, and my Italian roots go back to Argentina, where my family once lived before moving to Italy some time in the 18th century then to the US in the 20th century.
It took me a few years to find a video like yours, it was recommended by CZcams because of my interest in hiking. My toughest hike was from a ten thousand foot summit in Jackson Hole down to Jackson Village, about an eight mile hike.
The trail was good, but steep at the beginning, and part of it, blocked by a landslide, I had to climb up on my hands and knees for a distance of about 50 feet and footing was tough, though it was not dangerous.
Hiking from above the treeline to below the treeline was a fun experience, and your hiking together reminded me of that. I have never hitchhiked in the US, but I did pick up two hitchhikers and also helped fix someone's flat tire on the Interstates. I picked up a musician on I5 in Oregon and took him all the way to his destination in California--he kept me awake on the drive and reminded me of my older brother (RIP) who played a guitar that looked like the musician's in our high school days in the 70's.
I also picked up a Navajo chief and guide on I-40 in Arizona and took him to his destination in New Mexico, and finally fixed someone's flat tire just off of I-17--he had the spare tire, I had the jack.
Travelers have similarly helped me--I remember in Holland as I was traveling to Utrecht on a standing room only train, I felt faint and fell to the floor. The Dutch people on the train came to aid me immediately, with water, some young woman about my age then holding my hand, then they helped me leave the train and kept an eye on me until they knew I was OK to make it to my hotel.
So remembering that, years later I could only return the favor knowing the people I helped were truly in need and were no threat to me or anyone else. America is not as dangerous as some make it seem, it just being such a big country has more dangerous places to avoid which we are taught growing up, as anyone interested in travel and chilling with other travelers would be.
What a trip of a lifetime! You just showed me the most beautiful Glaciers and rock formations I've ever seen! I can't get over the beautiful skies and landscapes and how kind and trusting the people are.
What a marvelous experience you must have had? I bet you were tired?
I want to go..
Unfortunately I missed this opportunity, I'm beyond my physical limits now.
Thank you for sharing Patagonia.
Thaks Steve for sharing your experience with us! Its a healthy breath for the soul during pandemic times. Greatings from Argentina!
Thanks for sharing this with us !!! It's beautiful!
Absolutely stunning scenery and locations....pure magical....
Beautiful Patagonia and very good and inspiring video ... thank you so much and safe travels for you two! 💚
FELICITACIONES!
