Aww, je suis ravi que vous ayez apprécié la vidéo et merci pour vos aimables paroles! Happy pouring~
Beautiful!!!!
You are the first pouring artist I have seen use a comb to cover your canvas base. That is brilliant!! Beautiful work, as always
Thank you! I've found it the best tool for me in spreading a base coat~ :)
Wow 🤩
Los felicito, magia pura. Maravillosas pinturas. Saludos desde Argentina!!
I find watching you do this very emotionally therapeutic. Thank you for showing your work in action. 💚💚💚💚🎨
This is so relaxing! I want to fall asleep to it, but I can't close my eyes! 👁️ 👁️ I don't want to miss anything!
I liked them all, but I especially loved the ribbon pour. I like lots of color, so these were right up my alley.
Glad you enjoyed! I love making rainbow pours - they are like eye candy~ :)
Love the kiss pour and the ribbon!!! They are absolutely beautiful
Thank you~! :)
The colours are beautiful.. love the ribbon and paint kiss pours 😍
Wow, as an artist you are imaginative and very good at your production, not only in your art but your video production AND to boot (an American saying), you are ambidextrous as well. My son was too and it essentially threw the pitchers off kilter when he came up to bat. The pitcher (in baseball of course) never knew on which side of the plate he would stand. Good on you for that!! I love to see what kind of trick you are going to pull out of your hat in order to create your beautiful art.
Thank you for your sweet words~
So pretty
Thank you~! :)
Love the music! So perfectly suits the color and rhythm with which you move ! the colors and your capable hands ;-) thank you for bringing us such beauty and encouragement to explore on our own ;-)
Aww thank you~! :)

Thank you for your reply re the paint mixing and the music, I have only just start pouring paint and I love it - to me it is spiritual expression. yours does that for me too and the music. Icing and cake!!
That is sweet, thank you. Happy pouring~
What BEAUTIFUL colors those are!!!!! Very bright, hurts my eyes a little
Oh my!!! LOVE love love - I want to try all of them - beautifully done. Seeing your rainbow art gave me the push I needed to go ahead and play.
Thank you! Rainbow pours are so fun and vibrant - hope you enjoy experimenting with the different techniques~ :)

Why the hand thing at the beginning?
Lovely compilation! I particularly loved the ribbon and kiss pours but all were great. Very inspiring!! Thanks for sharing.
Be well. ❤️
Thank you~! :)
love the bright colors and you techniques! beautiful art! :)
Thank you~ :)
I want to thank you for sharing the details of your paintings. As a beginner, I have struggled with not only consistency issues (flow and muting) but not knowing how much of something. Your details of what size cups and what size canvas are especially useful to someone like me. I also liked the straight pour because I just don't see those simple examples on pour paint sights. It almost seems like cheating because you're not layering or swiping or blowing - just the basic sketch in paint. Much more likely to be successful and your colors are gorgeous.
Thank you! I appreciate your feedback - happy pouring~
@@LifeIsKumquat Absolutely love your creations!

F___! Awesome. Excuse the French language. Lol. Amazing!!
🤗👌
New at this..love this ribbon pour..having a hard time picking colors...how do I find the colors that you used...the video is so incredible ... how much of each color do you used.
The black gloves are, of course, super sexy! And your art is lovely, so is the colour choice.
do you use the acrilics directly or with a medium? very nice!!!!
Thanks! I use acrylics thinned with medium. Either the pre-mixed brands in bottles or I mix them myself with a blend of Floetrol and Liquitex Pouring Medium.
Open cup pour- did you use a pouring medium & floetrol & silicone? What is the recipe/formula? I LOVE the result!
It would be so helpful to have formulas in your descriptions. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful pieces. It is always a great pleasure to watch your techniques 😀👍
Thanks! The open cup pour in this compilation was one of my older pours using basic craft acrylics thinned with Floetrol. I was eyeballing the viscosity of my colors at that time so I don't have a ratio for you, although I believe it was on the thinner side for that pour. I also still use (and recommend) the silicone used in that pour today in my more recent pours - Unicone Art silicone. Happy pouring~
Doing the Ribbon technique can I use Sargent Art black acrylic paint and put my medium in there and then use the pre-mixed arteza paint pouring paints?
Liked this so much that I tried to emulate it. Apparently I don’t have the talent. I’d show you but I guess I can’t leave a photo.
Very abstract. Definitely unique. What song is playing in the background of your first pour?
Thanks! The first song is Rain by Valter Nowak.
Did you prep the canvas with anything?
The canvases were bought pre-primed, but I do occasionally add a base layer of thinned acrylic before the pour to help the design flow when tilting.
It looks like you were just pouring right out of the Paint bottles without mixing anything. Or did you mix them and put them back in the respective bottles?
In the ribbon pour I used Arteza pouring acrylics - they are pre-thinned/mixed and ready to pour straight from the bottle. :)
Life Is Kumquat thanks so much😀
What do you do with the all the paint residue in the cups you use?
I use spray alcohol to dissolve the acrylic, then wipe them out.
Hi, I'm just starting on this journey of creating with paints and mediums. Should I always start with a painted canvas? Because I'm just starting I'm not using expense canvases yet. I seem to be having issues flooding my canvas, is it because I need to paint it first?
I don't always add a flood/base coat first. When choose to, it is because the leading edge of a pour design rolls over itself and is lost as the canvas is tilted to cover. Adding a base coat lets the design flow to the edges rather than rolling, so much more of the initial pour design can stay on the canvas and you have more flexibility on what to intentionally pour off or not to get the effect you desire. This is particularly true for ring pours - but adding a base/flood coat is personal preference and not required for every pour.
@@LifeIsKumquat Thank you so much...your creations are stunning!
Thank you! Happy pouring~ :)
Your artwork is stunning - I loved watching you and being inspired - could you please tell me what that music is that's playing? - Thank you
Thank you! There are five different music pieces in this video paired with the pours - which one(s) were you asking about?
@@LifeIsKumquat - thank you for your reply! Actually I liked all of it! is it by the same artist? and yes I love how it goes with your individual paintings. Also what do you mix in your paints
The ribbon and kiss pours were made using pre-mixed pouring acrylics by Arteza, and for the others my acrylics were mixed with Floetrol to thin. I also mixed a drop of silicone into roughly a third of my colors for the open cup to create the cells. For the music, here are the artists: Valter Nowak, Sam Eber, Martin Landh, and Gavin Luke. :)
Salve, ma quei colori sono già pronti? Cioè contengono il medium? E dove li posso acquistare?
Do u need a special kind of paint to do this?
You can use a pre-thinned pouring acrylic which are ready to pour straight from from bottles like the ones from Arteza ( affiliate link: amzn.to/32C7iPv ) or you can mix your own using craft, student, or artist acrylic paint and something to thin them for pouring. Liquitex Pouring Medium is an excellent option for this.
Please, Where Did You get those Shades Of Arteza? I Looked & Cant Find Those Almost neon Ones... Thank You
They are included as part of a set of Arteza Pouring Acrylics, which are thinned and ready to pour straight from the bottles. My set I originally bought through Amazon (affiliate link): amzn.to/32C7iPv
@@LifeIsKumquat Thank You For the FAST Reply, I saw The Set yet ALL Of the Ones At This Vid beginning Did Not Seem To Be in That set. Your Group Just had a Vibrant Illumination That Didnt Seem 2B In That Set = the Color variations. Thank You Again :)
