A joyful vibrant rainbow fluid acrylic paint pour on a heart shaped wrapped canvas - starting with a ring pour flowing into a ribbon pour layered over top. A simple combo technique~
There were many air bubbles in this particular pre-mixed pouring paint that affected the end result, creating some bitty dots in the design and a small amount of tiny cells.

What is thi consistency of these paints might be little thick than swiping technique I try to do ring pour my paints were thin so I lost all rings 😢
Hi! Your thought is on the right path, making the mix a bit thicker will give you a less blended end result. For ring pours I personally like to mix the paint to roughly the consistency of slightly warmed honey. This particular ring pour the paint was on the thicker side. If you pick up the mixed paint with a stir stick and then let it drizzle back into the cup, the paint should leave a small mound before disappearing into the rest of the paint. If it pours straight in with no mound it is on the much thinner side. I would suggest to play with the consistencies to get a feel for what end result you like and please do not beat yourself up - each pour is another chance to create again anew! Do they stay glossy once they’re dry? ❤
It depends on the paint and pouring medium used. For example, mixing acrylic paint with Liquitex Pouring Medium will dry glossy, while mixing with Floetrol will dry more matte. If using a less glossy medium you can always add a layer of high gloss varnish over top after the paint has cured to enliven the colors and bring back that glossy sheen. A good varnish coat will also help protect the pigments from UV damage! 🙂

What is the difference in the paint ratio here that leads to the bubbling? Is there alcohol ink or more water? Does anyone else know?
How is the silicone added to create the cells? Is it added to every for the color swipe?
A single drop of silicone was mixed into the black before swiping it over the others.
I watch the videos and sit mesmerized. It feels like they’re my creation. When we first started pour painting we were addicted. My daughter even called in sick to stay home and paint. We had tons and tons. Eventually we paint over them

What happens if one pours acrylic from height ? Also I think I cld create something on a wall using a length of wood or right angled pvc trunking thingy, filling it & drawing it down wall in some manner.
