This song is the epitome of what true love feels like. Being in awe of the one you are with even in the most simple moments.
And I love that you guys are 2 old souls in young men bodies. I’m only 31 but even as a kid I would get lost in songs like these. Great reaction.
Saw him my brother. During a guitar solo, my brother said "he has the guitar plugged into his heart". Best discription I know
@BroAction-Eric played in The Yard Birds with Jimmy Page then was part of Cream.
This was written about Patti Boyd. She was married to George Harrison when he fell in love with her. He wrote Layla during that time. Eventually she left George for Eric, although they later divorced. A least ten songs from George, Eric, and The Beatles were written, or inspired by her. Something by George is another great love song about her.
Absolutely. Layla, Something and this song are beautiful songs.
Wow, didn't know that. Thanks! 👍
I don't think there is a bad version of this song, but one version, the "official live version," features a girl vocalist (Katie Kissoon) . Without words, her voice will carry the emotions of this song through your body and bring you to tears .
Lay Down Sally is his "country" song!
This is why I'm such a Clapton fan. He might not be the fastes or the most ferocious on a guitar, but the emotions he can pull out of that instument.. Damn.. I don't know what else to say. :)
Clapton, Bruce and Baker made up the supergroup Cream - you should definitely check them out if you haven’t.
Wonderful song.
Eric Clapton is one of my favorites
Try more songs of him
Much Love 💛
Simply perfect in ALL ways🧡 Classic Clapton, thanks so much guys.
"And the wonder the of it all...
Is that you just don't realize how much I love you." One of my favorite lyrics in a song EVER. Gets me every single time. ✌🎵❤
Eric's most recognizable song was as a member of Cream, that song being 'Sunshine of Your Love.' Once Jimi Hendrix went to England and blew everyone's mind, all guitarists immediately sounded different chasing his other earthly vibe attic. Cream's 2nd album, 'Disreali Gears' is the product of this rewiring. 'Sunshine of Your Love' is it's flagship.
Please, you HAVE to react to "I shot the sheriff Crossroads 2010" That is one of the best performances I've ever seen of Clapton, he's such a beast!!
Loved your reaction...this was the song at me and my husbands wedding. Our first dance.. My husband died awhile back, so this song has me in tears.💜😪
This is part of an unofficial trilogy of love songs written about Pattie Boyd who was George Harrison’s wife before she went on to marry Eric Clapton. The other two songs are Something by The Beatles(Written and sang by Harrison) and Layla by Derrick and the Dominoes(Written and sang by Clapton). Both of you guys have to check these songs. Trust me you won’t regret it.
THE WHO!!!!!!!!!! MY GENERATION!!!!!!!!!! LIVE AT LEEDS!!!!!!!!!!!!! EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Be happy that love exists & that we are blessed to have such beautiful music to listen to, which is able to make our hearts swell with emotion!
Layla by his band Derek & the Dominoes is arguably his best song. Has a beautiful outro section
Amen to that!
@@autaum6536 YES DO LAYLA REACTION PLEAAASE
Crossroads
Could you react to Cocaine or Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton? Love these reactions and you got to Eric Clapton ❤️
Nice reaction guys Eric "slow hand" Clapton is a true legend of British Blues, along with, Jimmy Page, Peter Green and Jeff Beck. The song was written about Pattie Boyed who was married to Eric, she is unique in having 2 of the most beautiful songs of all time written about her, this and Something by George Harrison who was also married to her.
Bro's, you'll love his "I Can't Stand It", "Forever Man" and "Bad Love". Clapton is GOD was a popular phrase. He was in Derek & The Dominoes for their classic song "Layla". His 1992 album "Unplugged" is outstanding.
You can't go wrong with anything Clapton!!
One of the most beautiful lovesongs: so much tender love in such a daily situation.
Beautiful song. Love Clapton!
You two haven't touched on the genre of country music and although it may not be down your alley..Chris Stapleton is a must listen. He is an amazing singer/songwriter/ musician !! He has broken down barriers of genre's..some say he is his own genre !!
" I was wrong"
" Tennessee Whiskey "
" Cold"
" What are you listening to"
On and on...do some research on him..his voice is amazing!!!
Thanks guys love Eric Clapton
Love Eric Clapton❤️. SRV was one of Clapton’s favorite guitarist. In fact they were in concert the night that SRV was killed 🥲. Part of Clapton’s crew was on the helicopter with SRV. 🥲. Would you consider revisiting SRV? Maybe Life Without You live from the Capitol Theater to see SRV break his tooth near the end of the song. He just grins at his crew off stage and mouths “lost my tooth...gone”.
Eric Clapton is LEGEND.
Please do Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven. Read what it's about before you listen to it.
But bring your hanky.
Yes, you guys have to react to Tears in Heaven. He wrote about it as a love song for his three year old who fell from a high rise apartment and died…..please listen
Saw him in concert twice; once with Roger Daltrey of The Who. Both times within the last 15 years, so later in his career... but he's still rocking! Listen to Bell Bottom Blues
He's recognized by WAY more than this song!..His career spans almost 60 years!
Bell bottom Blues by Clapton might be my favorite out of the so many classics!
I got to see Clapton twice in the 2000's early and late before he like many greats had to hang it up!
Thank you, it's my favourite song of Eric❤️
This song is my bf and my song 42 yrs and still going strong. We met at a new yrs eve party one thing led to another and our daughter was conceived that night this song was playing love you P.J.T. forever and always.
Clapton is SO versatile! And every style shows a different side of him, as well as his amazing guitar skills.
From Layla, unused, ti Cocain...and many more.
Yes, check me Clapton out! You won't be disappointed!
Love your reactions!!!!!!
My favourite Clapton is 3 songs from the album "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs" from when he played with Derek and The Dominoes. One is Layla, the others: Bell Bottom Blues and Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad.
This song was written for Clapton's wife Pattie Boyd, one of about 11 for her, some written by Eric, some by George Harrison (the Beatles)
Another great guitarist is Peter Frampton..check out “Do you feel like I do” from the Frampton comes alive album!💙
This song describes the first Christmas party I went to in 1977 with the woman who became my wife almost 43 years ago
More Clapton, please! Layla, Cocaine, Sunshine of Your Love, After Midnight, White Room, Old Love, It's in the Way That You Use it, Bad Love, Pretending, Before You Accuse Me, She's Waiting, Running on Faith, the list goes on for 50 years...
Speaking of love songs, George Harrison with the Beatles "Something" is one of the greats too!
He was in what was considered the first supergroup, Blind Faith. Can’t Find My Way Home, Had to Cry Today and anything else on their one and only album.
Greatest slow dancing song......................EVER!!
Oh guys you are doing a great job here! Truly listening and reacting to the songs. If you want to see and listen the best riff ever and Eric Clapton killing the guitar just watch Layla - Live concert (about 8 minutes). You see Eric Clapton is not a show off. He plays every note with a melodic and powerful meaning, really calm and brilliant. And for that reason he is one of the best of the best. And another suggestion is the duet Eric Clapton and B.B. King - The thrill is gone. For that there is also a live version with 4 (imagine that) top world class guitarists (BB King, Eric Clapton, Robert Cray, Jimmi Vaughn). And I am sure you will open up another rabbit hole with B.B King first! Trust me for these 2 ones (musicologist here and music teacher). Keep up the great work. You keep us good company through quarantine. Greetings from Greece!
Such a beautiful love song.....
PLEASE react to Clapton's "Layla"!? Eric Clapton is both an amazing guitarist and vocalist! "White Room/Sunshine of Your Love" from his days with Cream is outstanding! I love "Bell Bottom Blues" from his Derek & the Dominoes days, too! You can't actually go wrong with anything by Clapton! I've seen him in concert 5 times & every single time I was absolutely blown away! 🔥🤘
Clapton plays the lead guitar solo on George Harrison's composition While My Guitar Gently Weeps, released on The Beatles The White Album.
You guy's are just so sincere in your expressions!Eric's voice is so sexy...icing on the cake!!!
Another great song about love along the same vein is The Climax Blues Band "I Love You".
Our song for 38 years now
Beautiful beautiful song ❤️
Lots of families probably started with this song! 💑 💞 👶
Cream! Enjoy
Tis Better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.
My goodness what a love making song, 🥂 drinks. 💃dancing 💋💋love time. 🛌. Thanks guys
Has been rated one of the top five guitar player ever
You guys have GOT to listen to 'Layla'. I know you both enjoy a memorable riff, and that song's opening riff is iconic!
I love that the drums seem to be playing backwards. Clapton always has a slower tempo for everything.
This is the man that made me pick up guitar 10 years ago 🔥
If all is this wonderful with love in your life, then everything else will fall into place...if not, there is an emptiness❤
For personal reasons, to me, this is the most romantic song ever..
George Harrison also wrote the song "something in the way she moves " about Patti as well.
Great song choice. Another song that hits me hard is a lesser known Elvis song called "Wonder of You".
good old london boy ! legend
Bell Bottom Blues is his best song about Patti Boyd. Great song!!!
We need to see your reaction to Eric Clapton’s song “Layla.”
Beautiful song!!!! 🌺
Simple, yet soul touchingly beautiful. One of my favorites.
Absolutely beautiful! The most beautiful songs in the world written about Patti Boyd!
I also feel that " Layla " is his best work.
Love Love Love that reaction!
eric is 1 of VERY few guys who can make the guitar talk, sing and cry. jimmy page and mark knopfler are 2 others
Layla. By eric clapton is my favorite live song by him
Knocking on Heaven's Door. -- also Layla (studio version - THEN live version)
Pattie Boyd ,she was married to George Harrison who wrote the song Something for her then she married Eric and he wrote this , two beautiful love songs for the same woman . WOW.
Seen him numerous times. I've been a fan since The Yardbirds, John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, Blind Faith (with Steve Winwood), Cream, Derek & the Dominos, Delaney and Bonnie & Friends... the list goes on. He was based in the blues, the backbone of Rock. His discography is massive... His duo with Joe Bonamassa of "Further On Down The Road" live at the Royal Albert Hall is awesome.
This song can bring me to tears it is so beautiful.
With his notes and lyrics Clapton paints a picture;you are almost in it. That’s genius.
So simple words - but big words, meaningful words...hardcore, heartfelt love... Keep up your great reactions
Try out his songs Bell Bottom Blues and Blues Power. I think you'd like both of them. Thanks for sharing this love song from him. Sweet tone to it.
this song is lte in his career, he was in the yardbirds, john mayal, cream, derek and the dominos before this song which is a cover from jj cale
Нравится эта песня )
@ (this one especially !!)
Check out Layla by Derek and the Dominos (Eric Clapton). The long album version. He also has an unplugged version which is great but the original version has one of the most icon guitar licks ever with Eric Clapton and Gregg Allman.
Love you guys ❤️ and your reactions 😘
Oh man! This was our wedding song when I married my second wife in 1984. She was blonde and she was beautiful too. I haven't heard this song in quite a while. Thanks for your reaction and for bringing back some wonderful memories.
Great reaction guys. I loved listening to this tonight. Beautiful song. Made me cry.
This song ❤️ perfect. I remember my mom and dad dancing to this.
Yessssssss love this 😁
My brother and his wife's wedding song. Always loved this one from Clapton.
If you want to hear the evolution of an artist, listen to the version on the 24 Nights album. (There are two versions of the album. I’m partial to the audio-only version.)
This was the song we used for our first dance at my wedding! ❤️❤️❤️
This song is about Patti Boyd who was George Harrison's wife then became Eric Claptons wife.
Next try the Beatles "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" that Clapton played the guitar for the George at his request.
great video! I recommend listening to the live version of this song and others by clapton
You guys should check some of Clapton's amazing work with Cream, or Derek and The Dominos. Great vid.
Ogni uomo dovrebbe dire le stesse parole alla propria donna che ama.....
How about Layla by Eric Clapton? That would be a good reaction for all of us.
You need to react to Clapton's live version he does with Katie Kissoon. Live video. It's amazing!!
My favorite love song and most passionate from Eric Clapton, to me, is "Bell Bottom Blues" from the Derek and the Dominos album.
AT LEAST YOU DID THE RIGHT VERSION, THE STUDIO RECORDING! YESSSSS :) YOU KNOW CLAPTON PLAYED IN ABOUT 6 BANDS RIGHT? ( YARDBIRDS, CREAM, DEREK AND THE DOMINOES, BLIND FAITH, ETC ). AND A COUPLE OTHERS. :)
Meaningful song to me. Have 7 grand children now, and we still are in a state of wonder.
