If games like Doom: Eternal and The Witcher 3 can run well and look half decent on the Switch I see no reason why KH1, KH2 and KH3 cannot run on it.
Also other games like Dying Light, Bayonetta 1 and 2 run on the Switch. It shouldn’t be difficult to port uspcaled PS2 and PSP games. KH3 is a bit of a different case, but there’s no excuse for why KH 1.5 and 2.5 HD remix can’t be ported to run natively on the switch

@@fidtutosegames While I am by no means a game developer and don’t know how much work these collections would be need to be ported on Switch, at least it would have shown cause these cloud versions feel like half-assed cash grabs. While I admit my internet isn’t the fastest in the world even people with like 100 to 300 mbps speeds have said they’ve had trouble playing these games and Square Enix Enix wants me to pay 40 to 50 USD dollars per collection for games I don’t actually own and are barely playable? Screw that

I'm so disappointed with the Cloud versions in Switch,the first time that they released ( Control ) as a Cloud game I tested here in LATAM and I decided to buy it …. After new cloud games released … I couldn’t play it anymore … I would like that they’ll have more servers for this part of the world.

I was planning on playing these for the first time, but alas. Cloud versions.. are what I hate the most.
That's why I prefer the version for other platforms over the Switch when it comes to AAA Cloud games. They don't run on cloud servers at all.
You play the game on wifi, so of course it lags. It runs much better if you connect you Switch to an ethernet cable.
It would have take a very long time to get a true port for KH on switch. Currently Square is over taxed with alot of major projects. KH4 is already being worked on and FFVII:R2 is also in developement. Not to mention FFXVI. The earliest we will see a physical true port of KH onto another platform like switch would be once all those projects have been done with.
That’s why their games are a bit lackluster over the years. Too many big projects leads to postponing or being rushed forcing us to buy DLC to complete the story. It has always been their weakness in showing off things they aren’t ready to work on.
I want buy it because i don't have PC or XBox or PS4... can someone telling me why "don't buy"?

I’m sure there’s a reason but 🤷🏻♂️maybe it’s something with money 💰 or agreements I just wish they’re do it for us all this one time . Like even if it is just an all game bundle only option to get physical and not separate games. So they’re get more $$, but no we just just get this shitty cloud version that doesn’t even work and and there’s no way to contact either we just wait up until ANOTHER patch/bug fix update I guesse 🤦🏻♂️ ….. sorry lmao I just really like K.H and most of the fans feel the same about the Cloud Version as well.

@@vopilu right now that I think of it the psp had 2 full gta games that where also solid,Tbh I’m disappointed in the switch ,Games are 60$ and ports are so expensive borderlands etc that run like crap cost more than ps and Xbox version that actually look good

Looks ok, whats the problem? In the places where the game stotters ive heard that the player whos playing it does it too, so i think the game is not that bad on switch🤔 also the fights are in flow and without bugs or fps drops, so whats the problem?
Its not fps lag hes on about its as if its latency lag with the cloud, you press something it happens a second later which should not be

I even understand Kingdom Hearts 3 and 0.2 (which is part of the 2.8 collection) are not native ports for Switch, these two are Unreal Engine 4 games that are quite demanding, already run at 720p on Xbox One and have serious problems maintaining the frame-rate on the base PS4 and Xbox One so I can't imagine how this would run on the Switch ( and Square is aware of Unreal Engine 4 on the console, after all, they ported Dragon Quest XI to it ) but still...
No excuses for both 1.5 and 2.5 collections being cloud and not native ports, these are DS/PSP/PS2 games only and this collection was originally released for PS3, Switch is a more powerful console than PS3, it would run that no problem.
I think they could have gone the way Dying Light did, they announced both games, the first game is a native port, the second which is a more demanding game runs via cloud on Switch.
Unfortunately kingdom hearts collection cloud version is #14 in best seller right now on the Nintendo eShop this shouldn't be in best sellers

I missed out on this series. When I heard Nintendo was releasing it I was so happy . I downloaded the demo and it was just such a disappointment because of the lag . I guess I’ll just have to skip this series

The OLED has a LAN connector and removes the USB slot from inside the dock

With perfect internet - ok, but the textures are still like 480p ngl. 5ghz 1000m/bit here and it was cancer to see the textures after the tutorial. I hope it was a demo-thing but...wew. Hurted.
Its from playstation 2 era, and weird my pc cannot run Nier Automata but can Run low setting Kingdom Heart 3, aaand switch can run Nier automata but Kingdom Hearts 3 need cloud remote play? Bruh...

Sounds like a very sadistic challenge. KH2 critical mode level 1 run on Laggy Cloud gaming, just sounds like the worst time but a challenge.

in all honesty, if you have the money, get a PC. You can emulate the nintendo switch games on Yuzu (i don't use my switch anymore because of it and i can use parsec to play with my friends in multiplayer), you get access to Xbox Game Pass via a subscription (a really cheap subscription for TONS of games both triple As and Indies unlike other subscription i know which only gives already common NES, SNES and N64 games that everybody played on their phone....) and also some a PS game (God of War) is avaliable on PC so that's why i recommend a PC (ps: i have a switch)
Pd: if you want to play Kingdom Hearts in also on the epic games store, i played 1.5 and 2.5 and it was so good even though i only played 1 from the collection

I owned a switch and one thing I as a switch owner can actually admit is that it is honestly very outdated like very, it just has hype, but there is no reason KH shouldn’t be able to run on it….

Even i waited for a next gen console, my previous console was a standard ps4 i got in 2016, until ps5 and series x came out, I waited and i went with xbox series x this generation due to the cheap ass gamepass deals xbox is giving!
Compare Nintendo and Playstation yearly earnings, you will know Ninty is behind. No way Nintendo will compete in console market with hardware like PS5 or XSX that will make them bleed money. Xbox has MS to back it up while Playstation has Sony, Nintendo is not as big as those two. They don't want to be the next SEGA.
