@@Brajin1 Thanks for watching the videos man. I would be dumping the money into this anyways so it’s cool if other people can get something out of my financial irresponsibility.
How is the heel, instep and waist compared to John lofgren combat boot? I have a narrow heel and want to compare bc my options are combat boot vs 2040?
I am 12D Brannock and I can barely squeeze into a 2040 service boot in size 11. Only dress sock to not go numb. Not sure how you do it. Going to try out a 11.5 and 12 soon but those wont be in 2040 or 2045. Good looking boots though. Waiting for restock on these.
This is a useful comment. I’ve always wondered how their sizing is on other Lasts. My foot is 11.5D HtT / 12 HtB and wear the 310 in their 10.5E (UK) size. However I do wear them with lightweight socks (my preferred sock). I feel I’d need to size up to their 11 (UK) in the 2030/2040 Lasts as they don’t have huge toe box like the 310. However I’ve never tried them. I personally hate the 2030 shape, but the 2040 looks decent. This 2045 also looks decent.
Where can we find this boot? I didn't quite understand when you said it at the beginning of the video. And on the other hand, why have several of the same boots? Having those Vibergs I wouldn't have bought the other two from Truman and Oak.
What’s your take on how these compare to the OSB that you reviewed recently also on roughout CXL? I have a pair of the 2045 on a Division Road collab that they released in black waxed flesh. Your comparison regarding volume between the 2045 and 2030 is interesting. I went TTS on the 2045, and down .5 on the 2030. I was honestly surprised how well they fit considering that the 2045 looks wider and roomier. It’s a little counterintuitive, and if I didn’t know better I’d say go down half size on the 2045 and TTS on the 2030 because of that almond toe.
These are pretty much better in every metric than the OSBs other than price. The ways that it is better is very subject to the law of diminishing returns though. I think it’s debatable as to being twice as good as the oak street N-1s. As far as sizing, just goes to show how incredibly subjective it is. A TTS 2030 for me would be WAY too big. I could probably do a half down for the 2045, but a full size like I did just feels right for me.
Thank you for spending so much dam money on boots lol. Your side by side comparisons are very helpful when looking at these brands.

@@aChannelAboutBoots as one person who’s pondering the black hole of Viberg, I salute you.
This DeeCee makeup looks sick! Really like the look of the unstructured 2045 last.
Look nice in the roughout.
💥Same color as the Red Wing Iron Ranger 8083 Hawthorne Mule Skinner Roughout Love the look of these boots💥
