  • A quick introduction to Milliput (Two party epoxy putty), in this case the Standard Yellow - Grey version. It can be used for a lot of different things like reparations, household etc., but on this channel I will focus on hobby-use - great for sculpting, creating dioramas, making scenery for warhammer or railway models and of course for props, sets and armatures for stop motion animation.
This is a basic introduction on Milliput. Subscribe for more!

You can drill it and sand the milliput and a man in the model shop told me the milliput white to fine small details/ fill in small gaps and should be as hard as concrete which would be impossible with fired clay.

I never really use clay - it seems too risky... So far I've been very satisfied with the standard Milliput and Green Stuff for details. But thanks for the tip, I definitely have to try that type out at some point! ^^

The material is amazing and super useful but because it is epoxy I don't like handling it without gloves. Once cured it should be fine.

Milliput is great for making miniatures! In what scale are you working? Warhammer or something like that? For smaller details I would always use Green Stuff as milliput breaks easy if the layer is too thin. Green Stuff is more expensive though and I recommend milliput for larger parts to save money. But they works the same way basically :)

+DofWorksAnimation yes like the warhammer miniatures

@@jamesalbis4425 Most people are using green stuff for Warhammer because the scale is so small. So if you want to sculpt actual Warhammer miniatures that's the one to go for :) Milliput can be great for scenery though.

    Hi. Thanks for you video.
I have hard time to find where is the information about the different between the yellow and the gray miliput.
They are different? Or its just about the color?
    Thanks for your help.

Hello. So I should apply no less than 5 mm? I turn wood and got some to try, they are white, black ,turquoise and the standard colour which is, is it grey? Do you need to size the wood first to help the milliput adhere? Best wishes.
