Very useful video. I had a similar issue a couple of years ago with my main pump. Unfortunately, I didn't realize I could have replaced the head...
I now spray a bit of silicone oil on the head's rubber seals, in the hope of them lasting longer.

    Nice video :o)

Thank you.....even though the outcome wasn't what you expected, I learned some things from your video and Paulo's comment below.

      Cool. :)
I reckoned it would at least be helpful and educational.

What about for mini airpump? The cover stick that pushed had broked?

Thanks I like the way you trying solve the problem. I was looking this kind of valve for my Air tower 4 Blackburn. What did you think?

I think it depends on the hose's diameter. Many "generic" pump heads fit my hose without problems, but this Lezyne (and Park Tool) head won't.

That hose looks pretty thick, maybe you could shave some rubber on the out side?

Most locally available pump heads fit the hose just right.
I think Lezyne is the outlier.
Found a cheap, "moderate-quality" pump head locally. It does the job for now.

Wow… kids.. don’t try this at home… you’ll need a lot of tools… just go buy a new one for $30

I think you gave up too soon. It's most likely a solvable problem with a little creativity.

Didn't want to "alter" the hose.
Found a working valve head (not the highest quality, but it does the job).
On the lookout for the locally available high-quality pump heads - one will pop up sooner or later, I hope. :)
