Dire Straits. Saw them at the NEC Birmingham July 1995. By April 1986 I was living in Sydney. Saw them at the Entertainment Centre. Same tour.
Used to love line Dancing at Billy Bob's Tx! At the stockyards about 30 years ago! On the weekends! Oh those were the days !

It's not better than the original, but it's on par. Voice, storyline and video, great, even the final touch of the dance, and the closing without a word. All in all, EXCELLENT work. Happy 2024 from Italy
I love this video - one of the best I saw recently. Of course, the dancing lady is an eye-catcher, but also the idea to this clip is good. And the pedal steel guitar solo ist excellent. I think, Mark Knopfler would be very surprised!😉

Wonderful. As a high schooler, I listened to this song. In So Cal, I heard Johnny Cash and Dolly, Frank, Merle, and George (Strait and Jones). etc. But as a rock fan, this song breached the divide for me. I realized that the songs I liked the most from Dire Straits and the Rolling Stones were their most "country" songs. (Wild Wild Horses, etc.). I love this cover too.
