I kind of like this origin for Darth Vader more, Anakin being much more intelligent, efficient, and likeable, which makes his transformation to the dark side more of a tragedy, since it holds less impact when everyone likes Darth Vader more. Maybe a different sith lord could have died here, before the real Palpatine then uses his anger at this encounter to turn him dark, him realizing to late indeed, he had become the very thing he ALREADY thought he destroyed...

And then Mace Windu and the others arrived to find Anakin had killed Palpatine. A boring trial followed but Anakin was cleared of all charges once evidence including Palpatine's lightsaber was found. The Clone Wars soon ended. Anakin would tell this story to his kids at bedtime. Luke thought it ruined a much better story...then again he also wishes he had a robot hand like his dad.

I love how Anakin went from youngling slayer to sith lord killer.
Now he REALLY brought peace to the republic.
Unfortunately that probably would have had the opposite effect. Palpatine set the separatist leaders to get killed by Anakin which ended the war. Without him to do that, the war rages on. Sure the republic would have won sooner or later but killing him would have actually delayed their victory.
In that moment, Chancellor Sheev Palpatine got accepted into the Jedi order as Youngling.

Honestly if Windu was less of a dick, Yoda actually gave good advice, and the Council actually cared for their acolytes ie. Ashoka, then yeah… this could’ve happened.
Just a tip. If you switch on ambient occlusion and bloom and crank up your settings you will get a much better emission shader for your lightsabre which looks more like cycles even tho rendered in eevee.

After watching Clone wars i realized how easy his plan could’ve failed.

@@WarlordM Of course it is. Literally everything that happens in the prequels is Palpatine's grand design. Once he learns of Anakin's existence he almost immediately begins devising a plan to turn him.

Depending on how far ahead Palpatine planned everything, this could more or less still be a problem for the Jedi and the Republic. Had Anakin killed Palpatine, I think he would still have gone to the Darkside all because everyone he had known, trusted, and loved were all the same to him. People that were only capable of gaslighting him in the name of personal gains. Had Mace and his Squad came in they would’ve been next to die regardless because of Mace’s distrust of Anakin. At this point Anakin would have just left to hunt down the Separatist Leaders much like Palpatine planned it but instead of killing them he would have subjugated their forces basically filling in the void left behind by Dooku. When the dust settles, the Senate would be forced to enact a new emergency power to institute a new Chancellor in which it would come down to two eligible candidates, Bail Organa or Padmé Amidala the latter who would win by default but would voluntarily default to Bail in order to focus on the investigation of Palpatine’s Death. By then Ahsoka and Rex would have returned with Maul in tow for incarceration. Upon learning of the current events, Padmé, Rex, and Ahsoka would have to track down Obi-Wan and tell him what happened. When that is done, they would notify Yoda. Once all the critical players are in place, they would have to recruit additional support from certain groups. Ahsoka would reach out to Lux Bontieri as a way to reach out to Saw. Obi-Wan would ask for help from Bo-Katan. Yoda would enlist the aid of the Wookiees. This would leave Padmé to recruit either Cad Bane or Boba Fett by means of a high priced Bounty on Anakin. The rest is just open season from here.

Even better: since Palps was really popular with the masses, the people start calling for the end of the Jedi Order after his assassination, which Mas Amedda sells really well. The Senate, already at odds with the Jedi, would take this golden opportunity to disband and arrest them (see TCW season 5 ep. 17-20). Basically, Order 66 happens even without Palpy (to those who are wondering, they didn't need Anakin to lead the charge. The clones did 99% of the killing.). The war goes on. Without Jedi help, the Republic can't deal with the Separatists, now led/coerced/joined/whatever by Anakin, quickly. The war of attrition favours the Separatist droid armies more and more the longer the war drags on. The pressure (and internal problems, such as maintaining a war economy, see the deregulation/peace talks episodes of the Clone Wars) forces the Republic to settle for a ceasefire and recognise the Separatists' claims on their part of the galaxy; under Anakin's rule, it turns into a new Sith Empire. One of Anakin's Sith successors decides they've had enough of the Republic and instigates another war. The sequel trilogy ends up being much, much better.
But atleast anakin isn't in many pieces and burned. And thr sith lord is also dead

The lighting is kinda weird but the actual animation quality is so well done
The lightsaber knda looks like the transparent plastic Lego would use, which makes sense for a Lego animation video.

I've been thinking this ever since I first saw the movie. Palps held knowledge of how to save Padme over Anakin's head, but given how arrogant, reckless, and temperamental Anakin could be, there was a pretty solid chance he'd draw on this newly revealed Sith Lord and *demand* the answers he wanted!
I seriously just now realized Palpatine probably did give Anakin those Nightmares, they weren't just some strange unavoidable reality, he could've saved padme...if he, y'know, hadn't had the dream...

Honestly, a lot of smart people make stupid decisions when they're hit hard emotionally.
I get that this is hyperbolic satire, but I just want to point out that emotional manipulation was what caused Anakin to fall, not a lack of intelligence.
And this manipulation was enabled by the suppression of emotions by the Jedi council. Not allowing this young man to learn to deal with emotions etc makes it easy to manipulate them

@@taqresu5865 i mean generally speaking about the prequels seem to be the dialogue being not translated that well. Though I personally kinda never had that problem because I read the books first and also in the German dub which is at times a bit better.
This doesn’t excuse anything but yeah. And the books are simply better descriptions + deleted scenes
@@sergeantsharkseant I need to read the books myself, but I agree that dialogue writing isn't Lucas's strong point. He really shines when it comes to crafting a greater narrative. And that's why I usually overlook the execution of the dialogue.

Great plan doesn't mean anything if it's not conveyed to an audience well, and having a bunch of analysis years after pointing to how theyre great after all doesn't really county. Enjoy what you want, but it's safe to say in execution, the prequels were lacking.

Don't mistake. Anakin skywalker was massively intelligent. He was one of the smartest beings in the universe. And he was able to use the force to further his knowledge. He built a robot and a pod racer at the age of 10 and has shown extreme tactical ability as well as great wisdom.
