Nice review, on the fence with purchase but so far, your review inspired confidence. I am building a Tech Repair bag. Looks like it might be worth the cost.
A few months in and I’m still really happy with it.
In the front main compartment, where the water bottle compartment is, there is as well an AirTag compartment. ;)
The only thing I wish the bag had was a sort of quick access entry to the bigger sections, without requiring you unzip those. A lot of camera bags have it, and it could be useful for a tech pouch or small camera cube.
Hi, I am deciding of buying or not but I am a bit worried about it being usable as a carry-on for airline travel since it's depth is 29 cm and most airlines allow for only 23 cm. Do you think that you could compress it depth-wise using some kind of straps (if it's not full, of course) to make it a bit smaller for use in flights, or is it too rigid to do that?
You can definitely squeeze it down if it’s empty.

Make that 375 € for Europe with all costs (shipping alone is 70 €) :D. I really wanted it tho so I paid up but still hurts.
Wow 70€ for shipping, that's a lot of money.
What are the dimensions of your camera cube? I'm thinking of using something similar for that compartment and curious if it will fit
12 x 10 x 6
It’s worked really good for it. I’m still really happy with the bag
@@lukeconner Thanks for the info!
I want to like it, but I also really dislike "pockets" that unzip across the bottom. You slight struggle with where to put your notebook highlights this perfectly. I don't want to have to worry that if the zipper goes to far, my stuff might just fall straight out the bottom.
Your EDC gun in the backpack? Maybe it's not real, seems odd if it is, but if it works for you cool. Feels like a different compartment would work better.
I’m still working on the best place to carry it. I used to have a bag with a hidden pocket that was perfect.
@@lukeconner get a holster vertx has some velcro ones that are really nice
@@Timelessplays I have one. I don’t always carry it.
Say hello to my little friend :D
Why do you carry both a macbook pro and air? I understand having multiple laptops in a backpack, I've done it myself, but generally it's because each has different capabilities.
I sometimes carry both
Lenovo legion 5 pro running windows - use it for gaming or running windows only software
Dell XPS13 dev edition - my day to day laptop, running endevour os
Those are 2 different laptops with 2 different sets of capabilities. I could understand if someone carried a macbook and a windows computer, but 2 macbooks?
Generally, macbooks have good batterylife, so I doubt it's for extra uptime
Macos should be the same on both, so it's not for running different apps
And you carry both so it's not "pro for tougher workloads at home and air to take with me"
The only thing I can think of is that one is intel-based and one is arm-based, and you develop apps for macos that need to work on both
or I might be overthinking it and one is for a child or partner.
One is my personal laptop, and one is my work laptop.
Def don't keep the pew pew ready to go free flying in the bag lol
I know people will rag on me for this, but I don't keep a round chambered.
@@lukeconner eh loading it takes half a second.
Where is something to protect yourself with, just in case a zombie apocalypse happens ???
Rogue AI is more likely.
