It's New Year's and it's been over a year since I left my parents, estranged myself from them, due to psychological abuse. Since 2011 I was suicidal, with cries and pleas for my mother to help, but there was nothing. I've been alone and so isolated lately, and this family love had hurt like this, 💔 so badly. I've been having negative thoughts and memories of giving up, but Paloma came up here right now, and I feel more powerful to go on, thank you for the hope and the love in your voice and your energy.

Paloma is an incredibly grounded person, and has a large amount of control over her career. She is not a record label puppet like so many generic artists at the moment.
Her style and taste in music is not the simple repetative shit that you hear in in the top 40 these days. As a result her market audience is smaller.
Some artists are literal cash cows that are milked for couple of years and then dropped by their label when they lose popularity.
Paloma is not like this at all, she is more of a "slow burner" and will have a long career.
