She lie on the ground, having been knocked out by people she once called friends. "Why would they do this?" The question spiraled in her as she lost consiousness, and she couldn't answer.
Her "friends" surrounded her, preppared to do who knows what next. They had already beaten her senseless, what more could they do? And it was in that moment, a slew of black feathers surrounded her as a figure approached. A person in a black jacket walked towards them, it wasn't known if it was the large black wings on his back or that he walked with a menacing aura that forced the group to back off. The figure never said a word but the way he presented himself was more than enough to give the others an idea that he could single handeldly end them if he so chose.
The girl on the floor tried to look up and she recognize him, even as everything began to blur. He picked her up and began to carry her away. She couldn't belive what was going on as her one best friend, her one true friend seemed to have changed. He always seemed kind and had a very zen attitude so to see him approach with a bloodlust was a new side she hadn't seen before in him. New questions bubbled in her head. "How did he know where I was? Who is he really? And those wings, what is he?"
Jareth sighed as he looked down while carrying her. He tried to be a good friend to her and even though he knew how dangerous it was to reveal he was a Fae, much less a Crow-Father and yet, he couldn't just sit by and do nothing. He didn't know what it was that drove him to save her. She may have been his friend sure but the intent he put into it was as if his very existance rode on saving her. Could he have fallen in love with her after all this time? That couldn't be the case, as he belived it to be impossible for him to love and be loved... Could it?

We are living in Dark Times. Jenny was our light & comfort to our darkness within, & from a far. The world hasn't been the same. I blame everything that's been going on recently & it seems to be getting worse. We need a real leader in the White House. If you don't agree, then you're part of the problem. We need our light & comfort back, because we are definitely going to need her when things hit the fan even more so down the road.
