What I’d do with the Just Essentials burgers is cook them up, dice them up and add them to a jar of sweet and sour sauce. Cook off for a few minutes and add to rice. Nice fakeaway Chinese dinner.

They are called essentials for a reason..you wanted to eat chicken burger but don't have enough money, so the essential is to just eat one cheaply regardless of the taste or yellow packaging.

I noticed they reduced the size of the just essentials beef burgers from a pack of 10 to a pack of 8, and just slightly reduced the price. There are 5 of us in my family, and due to the shrinkage after cooking then we had 2 each to make 1 double burger. Cant use 8 now since one of us would go without so got these chicken burgers. Agree with you they are ok. Edible. That’s about it lol. Still though they’re not going to have to be a permanent replacement because of the 50% food price increase for most items. Trying to keep in budget of £100 per week 🫣
