- All the goals scored by UC Sampdoria, runner-up of the 1991/92 European Cup. Sampdoria reached the final overcoming Rosenborg, Budapest Honvéd, Red Star Belgrade, Anderlecht and Panathinaikos, losing the final to Barcelona. That team was coached by Vujadin Boškov. Gianluca Vialli was the team topscorer, with 6 goals.

If you ask me, that final was somehow rigged. 1992 was an Olympic year. We all know where the games were celebrated.

On top of that, Vialli once said that Barcelona should have his boots in their trophy room instead of the European Cup. Being Vialli an oligarch that understood the bigger game better than most, I would bet on a rigged game
This was when UEFA was more balanced in terms of salary cup and more clubs had opportunities to reach far. Nowdays, with the help of marketing, Real Madrid and Barcelona, juventus has lots of wealth to take all the stars.

Wrong. European Champions Cup was the name, abbreviated European Cup, you are right tho with that was the first test year with Groups and more teams, but the name was still European Cup. It changed in season 1992-1993 to Champions League. 1991-92 was the tournament's last edition before it was re-branded as the UEFA Champions League.

@@Ellinon_Vasileus No, this was not the first year of the Champions League. That was the year after this. This was the last year of the European Cup (NOT the same thing as the UEFA Cup).
