This is an exhibition fight, the same as when he had a scrap in Japan a couple of years ago. It isn't a licensed boxing fight like when he fought Conor.
That whole McGregor fight was nothing more than a money grabbing scam. Mayweather could have knocked McGregor out in the first round if he wanted, but had too make it look good for all the people who thought it was legit. If it was an MMA fight McGregor would have choked out Mayweather in the first round.

It’s a pretty bad analogy, 1 hand in boxing skill isn’t nearly as big as a factor as it is in basketball, for example if the Big show or brain Shaw, were to fight Floyd, neither have every boxed but by sheer power and size they would destroy Floyd, in basketball a guy could be 7 ft+ who’s never played basketball would loose to AI
