Yea that is one part that turned me off of AGT, all the sad stories. I do not want to watch people having a hard time in life, I want to watch them perform their passion.

DonÂŽt you find it weird how the camera just happens to be pointing at some one in the audience that asks a question out loud? "What is he doing?" "Why is he doing x". Some times they arenÂŽt even asking some one, just literally saying it out loud like in a freaking cartoon. And a lot of the reactions look so forced, the first people to stand up and dance did it right when the song started, the joke didnÂŽt even start and they randomly stood up and danced for no reason, the rest of the audience only joined them after

This reminds me of my step brother and his friend who did this at a karaoke bar on an island in the Caribbean for a bottle of Blue Curacao. They won and it was freaking hilarious just watching them stand there and stare at the line just like this dudes perfect performance.

Indeed. He acted like someone who lost a bet and had to go on AGT to be embarrassed. Now, he's worried what he must come up with next round. His emotion was totally unengaged. He was so lost that he couldn't even handle Terry's question about the next song. If his whole reaction was an act, I must say, he is a master of awkward comedy.
