    Thanks for this video! I’ve been overwhelmed with all the choices of soft gels available. I think I’ll start with a bottled version to practice my application before making a bigger investment with a potted gel system.

    I find that you truly get the most out of a pot rather than a bottle. Unlike the pot, bottles tend to still have product left inside which can’t be scooped up by the brush.

      Yup. I find those gel bottle handles to be product-soakers.

    I came back this video to help me understand and decide the Kokoist pot vs gel pricing for my purchase. You gave me exactly what I needed as they don’t show the grams vs ml breakdown in their site. Your coupon code really helps me on their site as well. Thank you Paola, you are the best.👌

    I just started using gels in my manicure so this is so helpful

    I tried bottle because it's readily available in the states, but I bought nail brushes for application for builder gel. I haven't bought any pots as of yet. I'm sure I'd prefer pots because I pour out the bottled gel to use with a brush. The bottle brush doesn't give me as much control of the product as I'd like when using builder gels. Tfs

    Started using soft gels for a natural overlay. Loved it soooo much instead of a regular gel manicure. My nails are healthy and stronger 😊😊

    I’m a beginner. Im starting with using luminary soft gel. I love it I’ve been using it for over 6 months and I can see my progress, and less lifting. I use it from the pot instead of straight from the bottle like u said, I get better control with a nail brush then the bottles brush.

    Also, how to do you feel about bioseaweed builder x as a soft gel overlay for damaged/nondamged natural nails

    If I am trying to grow out my damaged nails, due to harsh gel removal, would you recommend me doing a soft gel overlay?

    • @PaolaPonceNails
      @PaolaPonceNails  Před 4 lety +10

      Totally, better than a hard gel overlay. But you will have to be SUPER diligent not to peel it off, even if you encounter lifting.

    I will definitely have to get a japanese potted gel. I love orly builder in a bottle, but it bothers me that I never get all of the gel out of the bottle.

      Yes “digging” at it really messes w/ your application confidence.

  • @Vixinaful

    You can use it as both a glue *and* builder gel.

      @@PaolaPonceNails Thank you. I am a little confused still as in the attached video you show that you can use a form to sculpt gel nails with Japanese gels. However in this pot vs brush video, you said "...you can extend nails with soft builder gel, do not expect to sculpt with either a bottle or potted soft gel builder formula." THis seems contradictory, but maybe I am confused about what you mean by sculpt or what you mean by soft gel builder formula?

    • @PaolaPonceNails
      @PaolaPonceNails  Před 3 lety +1

      Even though sculpt is also used for soft gel builder formulas, think of sculpt as big tall apexes on highly structured nails.
