I think the problem is that collectors are over paying for their sneakers and their expectations are unrealistic. All of these sneakers are mass produced and perfection is not an achievable outcome. I never pay more than retail, I buy what like, wear them, and if they don’t look right or don’t feel right I donate them. I have made numerous purchases from Stock X and have never been disappointed.
Like you said some orders get canceled and the ones that’s don’t get canceled you don’t know what to expect with quality control one pair looks brand new another has stitching and glue all over

The qc is nike, their quality control issue is all nike. I dont like stock x but i dont think its there job to make sure you get a perfect pair, just make sure theyre a legit pair. You gonna stop buying from nike because you got less then perfect kobe reverse grinch. Doubt it.

Hate to say it, but this is on you Danny, not StockX or Nike. You already knew there were QC issues with this sneaker and you still chose to purchase them blindly. StockX has every right to pass a sneaker if it’s a manufacturer’s defect. Stop buying into the hype for hype’s sake. Nike doesn’t care about your feelings, only your wallet. But you do your thing and happy holidays.
I sponsored our local high school basketball team by buying their team shoes which, of course were a challenge to get (Way of Wades), and had to order from Goat. Three of the 14 pairs (which I had to order individually with zero discount on shipping even after contacting them), were cancelled. Serious pain in ass.

I just had StockX straight up cancel a Travis/Fragment high purchase on me and then immediately watched the price go up almost $1000. I was furious and I’ve sworn off StockX now.

I deleted my StockX account and app after I received a bad pair of AMM AJ12’s. The shoe was used, but you could only tell, by a tiny smudge at the bottom. By the time I noticed it, it was too late to return. Not the first issue with StockX for me, so I was done. GOAT has issues too, but I do sell used, so I need that one.
Bro I had the same problem with quality control. On my Jordan 3 reimagined and SB dunk low fog both came in with a lot of defects. I won’t buy from StockX anymore. They should have offer me a refund or cheaper price.

But sadly had to send them back cause shoes were worn and leather on the toe was damaged thankfully they took them back but the price I paid I won’t be able to hit again for a good while 😢
Don't trust sellers from stockx. They bid on their own products to make buyers pay more. Some sneakers have no bid on them & these sneakers have been like that for a long time. So you bid like $40. A week or 2 goes by & all of a sudden, the seller bids $85 or more on their own sneakers to make the buyer pay more. They think they slick, but I caught on. I purposely watched sneakers with low bids & bid on them & it happens all the time.

Don’t buy from StockX they sent me Gratitude DMP 11s from Hong Kong a Fake pair admitted they were fake then tried to give say StockX Asia to be credible when they are obviously fake and it’s crazy cause the fake pair Danny had in the real vs fake video is exactly the same type of shoe they sent me from Hong Kong smh the quality is straight garbage. Still a little piss but I got a W on the Reverse Grinch shock drop

GOAT and eBay are better, or at least they have been for the past couple of years, in my experiences.
Both have sent shoes back to sellers for either being reps or not matching the quality/condition described by said seller, and I appreciate that. StockX seems like they just slap a tag on and send the shoes, these days. They sent me 3 consecutive blatantly obvious reps and only took 1 pair back.... and it took months for me to get my refund, so I stopped ordering through them.
