Yes ye protective response hai but chronically agr causing agent remove ni honge, to long term me inflammation se condition aur bht kharab ho jati hai

Starting phase me koi bhi symptoms ni ata isliye asymptomatic jada sahi hai
Long term me agr bimari jara bd jata hai TB symptoms ate hai
