- Today we're doing a full in-depth review on the Brandon Blackwood Jasmine and seeing what fits? The Brandon Blackwood Jasmine has quickly gained the reputation of being one of my favorite bags in my designer bag collection- even though I have 1 major gripe about it. Stay tuned to see my full thoughts!
This year I'd love to add more pieces from Hermès like the Birkin size 40, Constance, 24/24 and Bolide. Maybe I'll be bad and get an Hermès Kelly 40! I also recently fell in love with the Chanel Jumbo- so that's kind of a must-have for my collection, along with a Chanel Mini Rectangle and a Chanel Reissue. Aside from those, I'd love to add a few more Fendi Peekaboo bags to my collection along with a Fendi Baguette. Make sure you subscribe to see what I buy this year!

@Caleb Snell After the BB Python Jasmine I purchased the Givenchy Antigona Lock mini in an ombre cream to mocha brown. The colors of the ombre is beautiful! I also purchased a Bvlgari Serpenti Forever Crossbody bag in the emerald green color. I purchases both from Fashionphile. I may return the Bvlgari but I'm unsure. Part of me wants to keep it and the other part of me thinks $1,300 for the bag is too much. Your thoughts? It came with the authencity card, raincoat, dustbag, and misc Bvlgari paperwork so that is rare and cool. I need to be content with what I have and stop convincing myself I need this or that bag. Uuugh. Lol
This bag is giving me major Ferragamo vibes and I like that. I snagged a piece from the BB foundation collection recently and have been impressed with it .
Right?! This bag has all the classic design cues, and it's a great wardrobe addition. I need to add more BB to my collection soon!

Totally agree bag price increases are a tad insane. I got the Jasmine after seeing its beauty on your 5 most used bags video, but Almost sent it back when I struggled to take things in and out of it the day I unboxed it with how the clip blocks the opening ( even without big man hands). Then I waited because it's leather is stunning. With a few simple and adjustments I figured out how to get my essentials in and out without big issues. Soo I kept it, because it is leather lined and so lux looking ahhhh🤩
I agree it has a mini black kelly and a ferragamo top handle vibe.
I'm glad you were able to make it work! It's a bit of a struggle- but it's such a great bag once you get used to it. It's probably my most used weekend bag at this point!

I like this style the best, the python wow! That’s really cool the top handle has a counter weight. Your black looks almost like patent leather which I like, I have a Ted Baker that is so similar.

Great video! The Jasmine reminds me of Romina’s Ferragamo’s Iconic Top Handle. The Jasmine looks a bit more difficult to put in stuff compared to the Iconic Top Handle. Cute, though!

You know I’m a fan. And I had no idea that was the purpose of the clochette. I took mine off because I don’t have them on any bag but maybe I’ll put it back on.
It's such a great bag! I just happened to figure it out one day- the clochette was in my way when I was getting into it, so I flipped it around- and boom! That's when I noticed lol!

I bought the exact same bag in black after viewing your first video. All great except the closure. It is so hard to push it in and close it especially when it's filled. For me it has to take two hands to close😅... However, I couldn't deny the fact that it's such a beauty.

I have a Kuei bag, and while I do really like it, I am finding it a little too small. I am wanting the Elizabeth (doctor bag) in black croc embossed leather with silver hardware. Your Jasmine bag is so cute and elegant at the same time.

Gorgeous bag. Buy the ones you want now because the prices are certain to zoom up, way up. I would like one myself, but I am supposed to be saving to return to Europe for a jaunt and I cannot have Europe and bags! I might be temped by the exotic, but importing an exotic into Australia is definitely not a simple process so it may not be worth the pain I could go through potentially. Thank you for the video!

Brandon Blackwood definitely has some stunning bags, but I wouldn't be able to deal with the tight closure. My dainty hands appreciate a nice gaping opening for easier access. For that reason, I've been eyeing up the Elizabeth Doctor Bag 😍

(TL:DR- I really love this bag, I just wish it came in black w/ silver hardware!)
So I'm really liking the offerings from contemporary brands like Brandon Blackwood, Aspinal of London etc...
It's such a dumb subjective first world problem for me, but I just can't get with the gold hardware. I know lots of folks LOVE gold hardware, but silver just looks so much better with my personal style. I just wish more brands would offer black with silver hardware. I kinda associate gold/brass with more classic bags (which lends itself to a more classic style), and I'm just... not at all classic lmao. Gaudy gold looks good on me, but I need the help of Donatella and Olivier for that 😅
Haha, I loved your comment! I agree- I prefer silver, but mostly because it ages better imo. Once gold or brass hardware wears down and shows the base metal, it's no longer cute lol.

I'd say a touch smaller, and much less expensive- but it's a good "look for less" in my opinion!
