I honestly thought a 280mm barrel was going to be great with a 20mm spacer on the stock spring, but I was getting very inconsistent performance. I threw in a spare 40cm Kuryaka barrel and my performance was consistently around 220-230fps. You can improve the barrel fit into the dart gate by doing a single wrap of electrical tape too and putting silicon lubricant over it. It'll press fit in pretty snug and it improves the air seal.
I'm still hitting 200 fps on stock spring. When the upgrade spring comes in, it will hit 300 fps on this longer barrel. This barrel cost me like $3. All the prints I did myself. The prime grip is even better than the original. I don't think I spent more than $8 of materials here.
