One of my favorite movies of all time.. Seen it like 200X.. this scene really bothers me.
Why the gun shootout if he had a bomb and heading into a meeting with the president or was gonna be close to him..
A better scene (IMO) would've been for Salt to kill him and maybe blow her cover in the process. They still would've moved the president to the bunker. 🤷🏾♂️

This is definitely a good movie, but I wish they would've gone a little deeper into why she betrayed her country and a lifetime of training and commitment to a cause. The way they did this movie turned it into Michael Bay without out the explosions - all action, no explanation.

I think a better explanation is the simple fact that she didn’t chose to be an agent she was bred to be one and never wanted to be what she was made. She married and killed off her fellow comrades, I mean Oleg purposely outed her and well didn’t leave her much choice
