In this video I explain the different steps I took to pass the Dutch language (inburgeren) exams. I also show different books and preparation materials that I used. Moreover, I go into the price, difficulty level of each exam, format and chances of passing it! I also discuss the details of reading, writing, speaking, listening and KNM Dutch exams.
I am an Indian student living in the Netherlands for the last 7 years and I passed the Dutch language exams in the year 2021!

hi good afternoon is this book for B1 level? or did you somehow enrol a course online or you can do it by doing self study?

@@theophineokpala6347 Hello, I passed lezen, luisteren. KNM I didn't pass I need to do it again. The results for spreken and schrijven are not yet out.
Sorry for the delay in response. As you have already given the exams so all the best for the results. For KNM try to practice how to manage time and you will definitely pass :)

Is there a validity for KNM exam? Can one give it before A2?
KNM is one of the exams including reading, writing, speaking and listening that you need to pass to be able to get the A2 Inburgering exams Diploma! As far as I know there was no validity before!
How long does it take for the diploma to arrive? Do I need to apply anywhere?
Normally 1 month after you pass all exams. No you don’t need to apply for that
Sir m giving my inburguring in a month m more worried about schrijven are the questions same from the practice questions
The pattern is very similar. Obviously not the same! :)

Hello, can you give tips for ONA portfolio and einde gesprek?
You don't need to give ONA if you have some work experience. I didn't give that because of work experience. Regarding the speaking exam, try to practice basic simple sentences on simple topics of day to day conversation like "what you like to eat" where you do shopping, what is favorite food, hobby, etc. etc.

How long did it take you to study and write the exam and is the all the 5 exam in the same day
As I mentioned the timeline in the video, around 6 months to a year of preparation including the crash course. There was no option to schedule all exams in one center in one day. I think I went twice. 3+2

Sorry, I don’t have much idea. For me ONA was exempted as I was already working in the Netherlands for a few years!

You need 60 percent in each exam to pass the Inburgering exams

Don’t think it deserves a video because it varies with individuals. Best advice I can give is to speak slow and stress on important keywords instead of the shorts. May be I will make a shorts on this someday!

How much time it takes for result to come?
Around 1-2 weeks for each exam. Speaking and writing can take like a month. Then after passing all the exams, the diploma can take 2-4 weeks to arrive

No, when I gave exams, it was Dutch level A2

No expiration date is written on the diploma
