Series Overview:
Three years ago we launch the original Buffet Series which consisted of 8 fly fishing adventures from around the globe. We had so much fun creating and sharing those stories that we decided to create a second round of fly fishing adventure films. In season 2 we stay a bit closer to home and focus on the amazing trout fisheries the West has to offer. We invite you to join us on these adventures as we share some of our favorite experiences with you.
Episode 1 Brookie Buffet features Phil Tuttle, Gilbert Rowley, and Andrew Rowley, Gilbert's 13 year old son. Brook trout have been special to us ever since we could remember. This is a story of beginnings and how the joy of fly fishing never really fades.
Whether your preference is chasing trout in a cold mountain stream, bonefish on a secluded flat, or large mouth bass in your favorite warm water pond, this series has something for you!

Being from upstate new york, brookies definitely hold a special place in my heart! Fish like that haunt my dreams knowing they were once plentiful here. I hope one day to have the opportunity to fish for some that large. They are among the most beautiful fish on the planet.

Love brookies. When I was a kid, we would occasionally get a brook trout and they were always highly coveted. A little older, at 14 years old, I caught my personal best fish ever in Yellowstone - a fat brook trout. I didn't measure it, but I'm guessing it was around 16 inches. That was huuuuge for a kid raised fishing small mountain streams. They'll always hold a reverent place in my heart.

My first fish I ever caught was a brook trout on a little stream and I was only 2 years old. 12 years later on weekends that I can make to the mountains and start fishing for the most beautiful 6 inch fish In the whole world I still get as thrilled if not more to catch that little brook trout.

Fantastic video. Brookies are always a stunning catch and fight like a fish twice their size. I remember being a young kid and fishing for brookies in the small streams in the white mountains of New Hampshire. This quick story definitely brings me back.

Stunning cinematography! It adds something very special to flyfishing to introduce it to your kids. Have been on a few trips with my girls, four and six, and they love it. If they had a say in it I think they would always join me. I sometimes have a hard time leaving the house without getting into debates with them if they see the waders and rod in hand. 😄

Amazing! I started with Brook trout too on a couple small ponds up the road from my house! Their allure never goes away. Still my absolute favorite! Especially when they are all colored up like that! Also, love seeing you bring your son and how much he loves it! The world needs more of that!

Brook Char* (wink wink) are a special fish! Not many areas can grow them big but I’ve seen a 20 plus in the water and it made my soul tremble. I can’t say I’ve caught a wild brook char that big but I hope to some day! Quality video and the venture into high alpine lakes is always worth it regardless of how big they are!

I just started fly fishing and just made my way to Kern river to hook on some trout. Instantly I fell in love and this hobby now has me by the balls I’m still borrowing a lot of my friends gear slowly building my arsenal. Really getting into the science of what our slimey buddies are eating and why and well it’s all so very interesting to me.
