    0:00 Introduction
0:24 Make a simple loop for attaching the corn
1:28 Add a stopper on the line. Without it, your corn grain will slide and make your rig ineffective
2:10 I used 1 fake pop-up corn and 1 natural corn, but you can use 2 natural ones if you want a bottom bait.
2:20 Thread your corn on the hair using the needle. First the fake pop-up
3:56 I used a size 8 curved shank with an in-turned eye hook
4:06 A small rig tube is used to better position the hair on the hook's shank.
5:34 Make a simple knotless knot. We have a separate video guide for this knot

im new to fishing ...... can you use normal braid line that you use for reel

    • @carpfishinglab

Sure, you can use reel braid line for rigs, too. Just consider its strength and sensitivity. Happy rigging and welcome to fishing! 🎣

Looks great... Making these on the bank while the bite is hot. That could get a little frustrating. I wonder if there is an even easier way to make corn stay on the hook longer and yet still float ?

Thank you for the comment. I don't know any other way. I will share with you if I find a better/easier way.

Just a little bit of heat shrink protruding from the hook eye would make the hook turn over faster

You are right Chris. Adding some heat shrink tube or a kicker makes this rig even more aggressive and efficient.
