- Skylanders Swap Force released October 13th, 2013; a day after the Nintendo 2DS here in the U.S. Today, I'll be looking back at Swap Force on the 3DS and discuss it's many differences with the console version!

The fact that Count Moneybone is the only 3DS villian to make a return in Super Charces only suports my theory that SC was suposed to be the final game.

Watching these skylanders on 3ds summary videos really does remind me that we're living in a society. I should get a copy of swap force for the 3ds tho.

I already have talked the 3DS version of Swap Force in the video about the console version. I didn't mention that the starter pack of the 3DS version of Swap Force is also my favorite starter pack. The Adventure Packs would have been better if they had a boss fight chapter just like in the main story. But I'm fine with the Adventure Packs having just one chapter.
It's nice to find out one reason to unironically hate Sprocket.
Fun fact: In the Finnish dub of the 3DS version of Swap Force, Flynn calls Persephone "Persikka". That made me crack up so hard when I heard it for the first time and it still makes me laugh to this day.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate was also released in 2013, even though lots of people don't seem to care about it but I do like it and it's by Mercury Steam, the developers who worked on Metroid: Samus Returns and Metroid Dread.
I was aware of Castlevania being released, just didn't have the game to show it off 😭

Fun Fact: The Skylanders Swap Force 3DS poster has two key character differences, there is the obvious addition of Volcanic Eruptor as well as a spelling mistake in Slobber Tooth’s name that spells it as “Slobbler Tooth”

I’m curious what happens when you put a skylander figure in a game where it didn’t exist yet? Like putting a swap force figure in spyro’s adventure?
You get a "this toy isn't compatable" notice. Fun fact: this is how you can reset a creation crystal. you need a copy of spyros adventure for 3ds. Apparently the wii version of giants works too.

Im not sure if there are any 3ds exclusives hats cause i never played these but if they are and u put them on a skylander will that 3ds exclusive hat on the skylander transfer to a skylander console game to like if u put a skylander with 3ds exclusive hat on a console portal will it show up in the game with 3ds hat
There aren’t any 3ds exclusive hats but if you put a hot on from a later game it will become a combat hat

The Wii version is different from the 3DS version, it's a completely different game. And yes, you'll need a 3DS portal. 👍

Is there no upgrades for the top and bottom halfs on the 3ds version?
No, it doesn’t work like that on 3DS. Skylanders get upgrades once they level up.

I going to have to disagree with you that sonic lost world 3ds is bad yes the story is the same as wii u but i find myself playing it more to the point that levels for me i git the time to under 5 minutes frozen factory act 3 i got to under 3 minutes without wisp
