All the foreshadowing has lead to Dabi self-destructing. He's basically a walking, burning corpse right now. We saw in the fight between All Might and the original Nomu, Nomu have limits. So part Nomu or not, Dabi has a limit, and he's reaching it.
i hope he doesnt die, it would be very tragic for dabi fans, he's turning himself into ashes, he has to stop I want him to be a hero, which is very unlikely

I feel so bad for the Todoroki family but specially Shouto this chapter, since a few chapters ago he said he wanted to try and fix things with Touya and now it's all seeming to go for a battle to the death between brothers

You're right, killing a person would really be a heavy decision to a young hero. Dabi dying to his own flames, yeah that's going to be one of the best way he gets neutralized. But killing a person, villain or not, would still impact a young hero. Shoto would be even more traumatized, not just killing a person, but his own family. So it's really going to be impactful what Shoto would do to defeat Dabi.
I don't think Dabi is dead from that attack. I actually think Iida being there is a big hint that the fight will continue. Not only is it a waste just to have him as back up, but I think he might talk about his experience with his own brother and Stain attacking him, and maybe try to hammer the point that brothers should be supportive. Idk just a theory.
Would be good if Endeavour could join this fight somehow, like if AFO could make that happen. Can't wait for next few chapters.
I really, really hope your right. Don’t tell me whether or not he’s been confirmed dead yet, since i read all the newer chapters quite yet, but if Touya dies i’ll be really dissatisfied. As much as it’d be climax to everything and it very much looked like it couldve been a killing blow from shoto, the whole Todoroki family story just leaves me with a desire to see more. I want to see fuyumi and natsuou talking to Touya or something, and, even if he didn’t have a choice, I don’t know how i’d ever feel about shoto killing Touya. Touya wants to kill shoto so desperately, and hes killed before, but if shoto kills touya rather than finding a way to just capture him, i feel like that’d make shoto as bad as his brother, in some way.
I'd love to see Touya go supernova. Supernova is an explosion of a dying star, and what's left of the supernova is a black hole. Imagine if Touya go supernova and after everything's settles, his remains is only ashes, a throwback on how only his lower jaw was discovered.

If he doesn’t feel pain, this might just be a blow to the face. This fight isn’t over, I’m sure they’re gonna show more of Shotos new power. Plus it took multiple people to even handle Dabi at this point. I think this fight just got serious.
I think something notable, and I dunno if anyone else pointed it out yet, but this 'Flashfire Fist: Phosphorus' attack is also seemingly coming out of his cold side.
Its a fire move being channeled through his cold side, and if that isnt an impressive display of his current control levels, I dont know what is.
I wonder if Shoto will be able freeze to phosphorus to create a cage around Dabi so that it could contain the flames.

Think about it he loved training with his father, he trained himself so his father could look at him again, he ran back home just to show his father what he can do, everything points at endeavor. It would be cool to see them talk things over as endeavor tries to talk to dabi and save him from himself. Their doing the same with shigaraki and deku so who knows. Phosphorus is likely a move that raises Shoto's heat exponentially. And it may have great repercussions because Phosphorus occurs naturally in the human body ( mostly bones and teeth) and if you overuse it you'll be weakened drastically and even possibly fall into a coma. I don't think he will be able to use this move more than once or twice without having major damage.
Dabi is a goner once the talk no jutsu didn't work it became a death match.

I think Endeavor somehow showing up and apologizing to Dabi would be really interesting; hear me out.
So Endeavor comes to apologize and stop him, but Dabi doesn’t care and attempts to use some close range attacks. Endeavor grabs and hugs him, feeling remorse for how he’s failed his son and is the reason he turned out evil. Absorbing the attack while also holding on to his son’s disintegrating body in his arms. He reflects on his life as a father and his feelings on his son's death for the second time (after
Assuming he died as a child).
Dabi Dies due to his own flames as predicted. Endeavor gets closure for Dabi’s death.
Shoto gets character growth/motivation for his future heroes work.
I think that would be an epic conclusion to the Todoroki family arc.
if by some chance Dabi does survive, he might not be able to move at all after Shoto's move. I want to see Dabi somehow survive and to see their mom somehow come into play.

I've always felt bad for him in a lot of different ways. He and I are a lot alike except that I could never bring myself to hurt anyone. But I understand his anger toward his father, I understand the abusive aspect and wanting so badly to feel the love, respect, and acceptance of a family that will never understand it. Oddly enough my younger brother has been what has kept me tied to them. So I'm sad that he didn't get the chance to understand that he wasn't the only one in pain in his family, he wasn't the only person who suffered. The things that happened to him as a kid are things he couldn't control, Endeavor did a lot of damage. But Touya chose to become Dabi, he could have chosen to hate his father, but love the ones who suffered with him. I was hoping he would come back to reason.
Dabi definitely showed this chapter that he believed Shoto lived a "charmed life," and thought he was an idiot for not continuing the "Endeavor training" (really Dabi??) and choosing UA instead. He still doesn't get Shoto HATED Endeavor's torturous "training," and at this point can't understand that Shoto turned out better going to UA.

And I wouldn't be surprised if he also believes Shoto f'd up his UA training as well. He's been observing his youngest brother alright, but maybe not with the correct lenses.

I agree that it is unreasonable that Dabi will switch his mind set in such a drastic way, but he has also linked his way of thinking to how stain thinks and says that Dab’s version is the purest form of what Stain wanted, Dabi has lost his mind and I don’t think even if he was sane would change his mind, but for Shoto I’m not sure, if he’s going for the kill or is trying to just stop Dabi, with Shoto’s new attack I think it’s going to either negate Dabi’s flames which will save him from his own quirk or it might basically try and one shot him, or for my theory it will take both sides of Shoto’s quirks and the ice will negate Dabi’s flame or make it weaker, and then Shoto will incinerate Dabi, or my second theory that this new move will take all the existing flames around them and allow Shoto to use them for an all out attack, but I can’t believe I have to wait 3 weeks until I get more MHA, I’m in so much pain, why anime gods, why?😩
If Dabi would just lost in next couple of chapter....that'd feel quite underwhelming. But I'm not sure what the author is building it up to from this extended fight chapters. There has to be a twist or surprise coming up, right?
i think it'd be sick if todoroki somehow gets his temperature to burn blue, wonder how it would look for his colors to change from red/blue to blue/blue and to see him carry on some kind of momento of his brother (although it feels unlikely since the hot and cold seems to be his trademark)

Don't think he's a Nomu, why?, wouldn't make sense to not give him a fire resistant body or one that can heal itself, most likely after almost dying and his body being basically rebuilt, is just that he either has an enhanced tolerance to pain or has lost the capability to feel pain

@@bruhhh8326 That is true. We cannot deny the fact that Endeavor had a hand in Dabi's outcome. However, in previous chapters we saw Deku/Midoriya go down that path or at least was close to it but still chose to become a hero.
BNHA is a manga that really weighs into the existentialism theory wherein you chose your own path. For Touya, he chose to be a villain.

I understand MHA’s sentiment about choices,however I feel that it ignores deeper psychological aspects. Yes he made monstrous choices but the way endeavor raised and treated him affected almost every choice since he made since then, not to mention the trauma of almost burning himself to death. Endeavor set a bad example, teaching Dabi to mismanage his anger. Toya was and is an emotionally unstable child willing to do anything for his father’s acknowledgment and love.

Shoto with the flames on himself like his Dad was pretty badass plus that new move was based and how Dabi got in some pretty cool shots as well this is gonna be an awesome end to the fight next chapter
they will both survive, or else Shoto will probably just destroy himself (as a character). Fixing your family by killing the one that's causing a ruckus? well that won't do anything but leave a hole in the entire family. A big hole too since the flags of Endeavor dying are 100% crimson red. While realistically it wouldn't make sense for Dabi to atone for his sins, I'd imagine that's the ONLY way to fix Shoto's family. Killing Dabi and then having Endeavor dying just won't fix anything.

Phosphorus does some pretty crazy stuff when it's set on fire, so I'm wondering if Flashfire Fist: Phosphorus has some kind of special secondary effect, like blinding or disorienting the opponent, since ignited phosphorus is very bright and the smoke created by it is very thick and white, maybe serving to make more fire moves harder to use by suffocating the fire, or maybe create a smokescreen
I think Dabi’s flames will stop for a second after Shoto’s super move then they will have a moment of Shoto trying to get him to be good but obviously Dabi will say no in a aggressive edgy way then do a super nova attack that will kill himself and take Shoto and anyone close out of the fight… or Dabi will reveal a new quirk that AFO gave him

I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE LAST ACT OF WHAT IS THE FIRST PART OF THE MANGA. Midoriya in a new costume, I think both he and the other students will still wear the costumes from the art from the 5th popularity poll because Iida's new costume is very similar and Kohei may have used that art as foreshadowing. I don't think this new war will be the last round, because for me the battle ending with 2 rounds seems kind of weird, besides that there’s still too many plot points to finish and others to even start. So PROBABLY in this second round it will be a draw or the heroes will lose the battle but will flee Japan to other countries, so I still think there will be a 3rd round where the heroes go all out, when will be the second part of the manga. But instead of having a time skip, it would have a world building, especially due to the potential after the introduction of Star And Stripes, and the militaries that helped her, showing that military forces are still a thing outside Japan in MHA world world. I think this is going to be a fashion for current mangas like FT 100YQ, such as Black Clover: divide the manga in two part, the first one settling world region where the story begins, and then the second expanding and building the world and it’s dynamics.
BESIDES THERE WAS AN INTERVIEW BETWEEN HORIKOSHI AND EICHIRO ODA, AUTHOR OF ONE PIECE, WHICH THE FORMER CLAIMED THAT HE WANTED TO SURPASS ONE PIECE
They might kill each other with a massive explosion. But I don't expect Shoto to die. It would be more realistic if they killed villains and some heroes too. However, if Dabi dies, Shoto might become depressed and blame his father more than ever. In my personal opinion, I actually expect Endeavour to die in the end somehow. Dunno >.

I’m gonna be so honest…. A long time back I truly thought Eri would be used to turn back Dabi
If is is part nomu, he might regenerate, that is my prediction. I really feel like it will happen, since it was only a few chapter for this battle! Usual anime battles are quite a huge amount of chapters.
This situation reminds me of when Superman was chokeholding Zod in Man of Steel, the pain he felt to kill one of his own kind was expressed so well and I believe Shoto may end up feeling something similar.
Not bad, the action panels look awesome and the flash fist fire is finally put to use in full effect. Could’ve done the little flashback scene without shoehorning the class 1A members to make it more personal, but still a good chapter. Though I hope there’s a lot more to it than that one hit and that’s it cause we still need to see Endeavor and Dabi’s one to one interaction.

I can’t wait to see this animated.
I'm sure Dabi is going to die. Not only is his body not holding together well, and he's naturally more resistant to the cold, but his mind and body are essentially broken past the point of returning.
Shoto nailed it when he told his older brother that, yeah, life sucks, and we had a horrible household, but the moment you hurt people is the moment where it's all on you. You can't blame people for your past once you get to that point.
I don't think Shoto will kill him alone. I want Rei to come in as well and stop Toya as well. And the whole family fights to stop him. Endeavor might even die doing so.
But I think, the closest that Dabi should get to a "redemption arc" is if he were to start falling apart in the arms of his mom and dad, crying, saying that he only wanted them to be proud, and wanted to go back home, and then die in their arms.
I hope we get something really heart-wrenching like that. I personally like him more than Shigaraki, so I hope he has a satisfying ending overall.

I have a theory that states that possibly deku is going to die at the end of the whole series as to why it was obvious from the very beginning and the anime and possibly the manga he said "oh this is the story of how I became the world's greatest hero"now a lot of you may be saying oh but he's going to become that wrong he used a became instead of become two different words two different syllables and obviously this could possibly be true

I’m like “Oh shit, he’s gonna save the world and die young, hence why he became the world’s greatest hero.” It also makes sense why the manga is ending in year two, and year three might show the classmates graduating and Deku there in spirit or something 🤷🏽♂️

@@TokyoSaga I understand where you're getting it but me and my friends actually believe that yes it's obvious that you can't have a greater good and a greater evil and knock out one side of the factor and just keep it as one thing like if the greater good reads the greater evil then there's no reason for the person that has the greater good to keep using it and if the greater evil wins then there's no reason for him to use that power either what we believe in is that it may come down to izuku having to be killed off with shigiraki at the same time in better words it would have to seem both would have to die in order to release the greater evil and good so that nobody can use them and weaponize them even further I mean as what we know as of right now shigarki is getting strong with a squirk and same with izuku but like I said you can't have a greater evil without a greater good and a greater good with our greater evil so in my eyes and based off what I heard it may have to come down to both of them dieing. Epic win on Shoto fighting skills have super level up. With Dabi's body already dying out and I wonder how much before the body fail when Shoto lands the final blow.
If Shoto kill his own brother would be so deep and might mess up a bit. It's sad that taking out Dabi would be a lot safer for the their world yet it would be a huge twist if Shoto's and Dabi's father would be the one to kill him and not Shoto. annoyed when i still see people say dabi is a nomu. did they just not read the past couple of chapters? he escaped before anyone was able to turn him into a nomu when he burnt down the orphanage. him having gotten skin grafts from garaki is not him having been turned into a nomu.. and also the skin grafting is not as weird as some people seem to think it is. it's probably the least weird thing garaki did.
