An armor stripping guide would be amazing, thanks
Awe. Keep the content coming. Helps during loadshedding 😅
dang man sorry to hear :( loadshedding is a killer
Yeah, I'd definitely love to see an armor strip video if I can learn something!
Like would Corrosive Projection have reduced that remaining 10% to zero, or would it remove it's percentage from that 10?
I was under the impression that even 10% armor is huge at lvl cap (I've personally never been past lvl 7K) not to mention the damage vulnerability changing between armored and flesh- I'm actually not totally sure how that even works, does the damage (bonuses/ resistance) actually go through armor to flesh? I mean does armor like reduce viral damage then send the remaining through to the flesh with the bonus intact, or does armor just combine with the flesh as one totally different health pool/ health type? And I'm taking without slash or anything else that bypasses armor. It's hard to articulate my question lol.
The Burston is for sure a monster, one of my new favorites, but if you're using slash (especially with viral) armor is a bit of a non issue.
so lets start with slash, slash is actually terrible against armor like the grineer ferrite armor, but is great against all flesh, the slash proc bleed however deals true damage, so that part bypasses armor, thats why even if i have a heavy slash based weapon i'll still armor strip so that the slash damage can also deal damage, it effectively doubles your damage.
corrosive projection does not strip the remaining 10% its a percentage of the remaining, corrosive projection however stacks with ability armor strips so if you have an ability that strips 85 - 90% armor corrosive projection with stack with it and remove the rest, so its quite bad to use with corrosive and heat sadly.
Viral its self as a damage type deals a lot of damage to girneer and corpus flesh but does neutral damage to their armor, so not bad to just use like that, viral is generally good against grineer since they both have a weakness to the damage and are neutral to the damage at the same time, but I use it for the status effect which increases damage to health by 325% at 10 procs, thats where viral is so good.
But to answer your question they have cloned flesh AND armor at the same time so both bonuses apply for them, that's why stripping armor is so great because it removes one of their resistances
@@morning8590 Wow, that was a really detailed answer. Thanks! So I'll keep Corrosive Projection on Hildryn (400% is a lot to cram in) and not worry about it for most other situations like weapons. And I guess you're saying armor and flesh both exist at the same time, it's not a totally different type before it's stripped so while you still get the bonus to health from an element, it will just be diminished by armor.
Pretty sure 90% of armor stripping at level cap still leaves them with 98% dmg reduction similar to their 99.8% dmg reduction prior it does practically nothing, this is also from my own experience as ive gone to level cap in disruption multiple times without slash and struggled heavily even with corrosive and heat, and my most recent level cap of void cascade
Give armor strip guide with damage reduction on amount stripped because it seems like you either full step or don’t strip at all and use slash to bypass armor for the best results.
Bro just found you and i have to say god damn your a hidden gem ^^ so many cool videos and one of the best explanations ever
Thanks so much man! Appreciate that, we're going hard again after christmas after I pick up like 10 kg's xD
Dude I just rolled a MS Dmg SC -mag burston, I made bad decisions with my incarnons so I’m drooling to get my hands of the burston incarnon to try this
oh wow yea those are the stats you want, and the minus mag is soooo ideal, the incarnon form has a 600 clip 0_0 you gonna have a good time!
@@morning8590 wish me luck I want to see if that riven can totally Replace gun CO hoping the MS can make it up of the lack of dmg
Btw have you considered streaming? If you plan to don’t forget to let us know! I’ll be there
if the multishot ends up being crazy might be worth it to just crank the heat or slash on that weapon, would be insane with the clip size!
I have thought about it, and I probably am in the future going to stream and see if people enjoy it, thanks would appreciate if you came along for the ride :)
Can you also talk about the corpus armor stripping without warframe abilities, most videos only talk about viral and corrosive.
100% will include that in the armor stripping guide :)
I dont understand what grineer flesh is. Is it any grineer enemy if you strip armor down to red HP? Or only grineer enemies if they have no yellow bar armor in the first place?
it's basically the name for their health, they always have it, when they are armored the damage reduction of the armor just gets added to their grineer flesh aka health :)
*B O L D*
there is a calculator for armour for enemies on the wiki. As a long time player i think the armour equation is a big part of damage in this game.
i can tell you that at lvl cap strip 90% is doing far far less than you would think, i the armour is still reducing your dmg by more than 99% due to how armour scaling works in this game. to give you an easier example, a 90% stripped lvl 9999 enemy has the same armour as a lvl 5000 enemy, not that stripped.
also if we are counting this as armour stripping i guess me running Corrosive projection on all my builds is armour stripping?
Yes corrosive projection is indeed striping a % of armor, and yea a 90% strip with heat scaling infinitely is a big deal, also the slash that bypasses it completely does the rest of the job, almost 90% of our arsenals can kill normal level cap units without any armor reductions no issue, we already deal absurd amounts of damage with our weapons, so adding armor strip to them like heat and corrosive is insanely beneficial, people overhype the tankyness of level cap by looking at the enemy numbers and missing the numbers our weapons are out putting
Unfortunate that Bladestorm doesn't inherit Innodems perks anymore
:( (except atk speed)
is unfortunate, but with roar still kills level cap like paper :) the finisher damage was always bad against high level cap enemies because of armor anyway, so roar slash stayed consistently the best even during the "bugged" phase of BS
@@morning8590 do you think that its worth using BS with Savage Silence if i wanna go for it specifically since murmur are quite resistant to bleed and viral?
How do you keep them in place
magus lockdown, operator arcane
Where are u getting that 120 chance from.....i keep seeing people with these 100% or betta percentages on this gun with no crit mods......they had to nerf this gun....if so do this build still apply
Critical delay is a crit mod, a 200% crit mod, the weapon has 40% base crit and 200% essentially means 3 times math wise, 40 times 3 = 120, this build still performs EXACTLY the same :)
technically 'armor strip' refers to 100% armor removal through warframe abilities
you're the one trying to bamboozle people by implying that elemental armor reductions and/or slash count as armor stripping when they most CLEARLY do not
nice clickbait though, 4/10
Nope it does NOT ;) armor strip can be a % of armor value stripped(call it strip or reduction, choice is yours, they are both EXACTLY the same thing), thats it, not bamboozling anyone just telling the facts like they are, I think you may have bamboozled yourself though, also never said that slash is armor stripping, because it does not strip armor, slash does VERY poorly against armor the status proc bleed however deals true damage if you didnt know, thats what I meant when I said people are either using slash(for the true damage) OR they are using heat/corrosive to ARMOR strip because that is most certainly what is happening.
And the clickbait was so that this could maybe be last time that viewers get click baited and know what to look out for, because a lot of people dont explain how it works, so people come asking and this video is a kind of answer.
Um TeChNiCaLlY **proceeds to be an idiot**
@@morning8590 well, im only speaking based on what i've been taught about the game. If that information turns out to be incorrect and i've been talking out of my ass - i do apologize
again - from what i know armor stripping refers to complete 100% armor removal, not armor *reduction* through corrosive/heat or viral+slash (ticks) combo ignoring armor
@@machopi armor stripping is just a general term for any method of REMOVING (not ignoring) armor, doesn't matter if it's full or partial
@@machopibro wtf are you on about full strip half strip small strip are all strips 😂
