I found the same issue with too short screws. But don’t give up, grab some duct tape and wrap the shaft tightly. It will make the knob fit very well. Next tighten the screws, it ain’t going nowhere. I recommend this knob 100%, great shifting feel, makes me want to shift gears!

I have a series 4 595 comp. and found it was better to use 5mm long grub screws, as this gives more thread engaged when tighting the grub screw and the collar is aluminium. Other than that, the carbon gear knob looks good.

tried fitting this today and seems to me the grub screws supplied just weren't long enough...will try again tomorrow but i did tighten them as far as they'd go but it was stil very loose. Could it be that I received the wrong set of grubscrews? perhaps they're for a different car altogether with a thicker stem?
