You can actually remove that ring fairly easily. Its just held in by little pins. You guys should make a clip in replacement part then the fitment would be perfect and permanent.

If I am replacing my standard JCW 2015 tail lights with these, are they going to require coding or should they just plug in and be good to go from the box?

Do you have the sound levels for this at all? Thinking for track + JCW pro exhaust I have at the moment. And will MOT be possible?
